Meh, i got a shitty virus yesterday that fucked up my computer completely, i tried to get rid of it using many different types of anti-viruses and softwares that get rid of spyware, it ended up being worse, key files were deleted, my processor was using 100% of it's capacity, my comp was SUPER SLOW, oh well, so i lost all my database, lost everything, duh. Couldn't find my XP cd, so i went out to buy one, fucking windows xp costs 300 bucks, fuck em T_T oh well it's working now.... duh
As you predicted, my little endeavor to start a bankroll from scratch failed pretty rapidly. I was going to go at it again but then I read about Ferguson's $6.50 after grinding from nothing for 9 months and I remembered just how hateful freerolls are, so I decided that it was a pretty stupid way to go about it.
I deposit $50 into pokerstars and, long story short; I'm down to $1.50 after 5 days. I wont go into details, you already know it all and heard it all. I'll just state the obvious and say that it was a combination of bad play, an amazing string of bad-beats and tilt (in that specific order).
When I got over the initial shock a fog started to clear in my head and things became very clear. I realized that I don't know shit about poker. I was slammed in the face with a lesson on how emotion and wishful thinking will fuck up your decision making and ability to see things for what they are. The brutal beating dealt to me by variance forced me to appreciate the reality of what it means to gamble and made me aware of the knowledge and skills necessary to put the odds in my favor--knowledge and skills that I don't have.
I thought I knew these things, which is why I tried to start my bankroll from scratch. I learned that I didn't know the first thing about it. Obvious stuff, but some people need to have it beat into them. It was a great learning experience, I'm just glad I got it so cheap.
In the past few days I was a little upset with Lee Jones for all the setups he kept giving me - I really hate setups because I am always second guessing my decisions and sometimes I feel really ill about the hands. Well I wasnt really down most of the days, because some players are just too awfull, but I was way behind my expectations.
But after today I like Lee again I got enough sets and setups in my favor to make up for at least past 7 days.
I dont really like posting my results and bragging about it, but I feel really good about today so I am going to make an exception this time

Casino Poker Is Amazingly Easyby JonnyCosMo, November 22
So I went to Palomar card room last night in San Diego to play some live poker. They got this nice little card room with 6 tables, running mostly No Limit Hold'Em. Their 5/10 game is a $1500 max buyin, so I sit with $1000 at around 10pm. This is what proceeds to happen:
I sit down in the middle of a hand, it was a raised pot... with 6 people seeing the flop. The board comes out 5-5-8, the player in the big blind fires out a pot size bet, the original raiser in the hand insta-snap calls, everyone else folds. Turn comes a 4, the big blind shoves, the original raiser holds his hand over his head and finally is like... "uugghh alright I call." The river is a Q, and the guy in the big blind tables 98o like it was the nuts... The original raiser looks at his hand and is like "It's good" then mucks. The fuck?
Very next hand, a short stack shoves for $120, another semi-short stack re-shoves for $400. Drunk gambling guy at the far end of the table is like "OMG THIS IS MY FAVORITE HAND!!!" And calls. Everyone else folds and the drunk gambling guy shows 96s. The flop comes 5-7-8, BAM get the fuck out short stacks! And they say online poker is rigged.
So for the first 30 minutes I just sat and played tight, pretty much folded every single hand until I picked up KTdd on the button. There were two limpers so I raised, and both the limpers called (standard). The flop came Q-5-2 w/ one diamond, and both players checked to me so I decided to use my tight image to my advantage and made a standard c-bet. The first limper called and the other one folded, so at this point I was thinking he had some pair like 33,44,66-88. The turn came the Ad, and the player again checked to me. Since I turned the mega draw and I thought he had a hand I could push off, I decided to fire yet another barrel. The guy quickly (and yes I mean QUICKLY) called. The river came a 2c which totally ruined any chance to triple barrel bluff this moron. He checked and I checked behind and he tables 44. Huh? I felt sick mucking my hand.
Another hour passes by, I'm getting cold decked to the extreme, I pretty much couldn't pick up anything playable. On the other hand, the guy to my right ran like Jamie Gold the entire time I was there. He hit 6 sets when it went to showdown, flopped trips and straights multiple times with absolute shit cards. He was playing every hand so naturally he should be hitting some flops, but it really felt like this guy was hitting every freaking flop. It was pretty gross. So anyways, this guy ends up destroying the only player I thought might have been somewhat good in this hand:
The 'Good' player (I put it in quotes since he seemed like the only player capable of 2nd level thinking, although that really doesn't make you good in poker, it makes you a god in this game) raises UTG to $40, the guy to my right who hadn't folded a hand all night reraises to $600. Earlier in the night, the guy to my right made it some absurd amount like $500, after 4 players limped then he showed 83o. So the 'Good' player tanks forever, and then starts talking to the guy to my right. The guy to my right kept saying "If you call, do you want to check it down? huh? huh?" So finally the 'Good' player was like "Oh, that probably means you have 83o again" and he jams all-in for $4k more. The guy to my right insta Phil Hellmuth style fist pump snap calls and tables AA. The 'Good' Player flips up KK. I feel gross for the good player, flop comes K-Q-T. ZING! SHIP SOME JUSTICE ONE TIME!?! Turn 3. HOLD!?! River J... Doh! It was a pretty gross moment... but atleast the 'Good' player left.
3 hours into my session I was stuck almost $1k, had won a total of 3 pots the entire night, and I was bored out of my mind. I was trying my best to stay emotionally in control, but all these retarded plays paying off around me was driving me crazy. Finally I played my first big pot of the night when I was dealt AQs. This somewhat loose / aggro idiot raises in the CO so I reraise on the button, he calls. Flop comes A-9-9, he leads for 1/2 pot, so I flat call. Turn comes a 7 and he leads for 3/4 pot, so I tank for a little bit (not nearly half as long as some of these idiots were tanking for) and then called. River was a 9. He jams... I lol at myself, and realize I might be victim of the zeebo therom here, but whatever this guy was stupid so I called...
He shows KQo and is like "Good hand". "Thanks" I said. I'm back to even in one pot. LOL! I played for 4.5 hours total and ended stuck $50 which is like breaking even. I was pretty happy with my emotional control through out the session, as there were multiple times I could have just lost it and tilted myself broke but I didn't.
Cliffnotes:
1. Live poker is a joke.
2. People who play in casinos are totally retarded, and totally degen.
3. Being cold decked while playing live is similar to sitting in a warm bath tub with your wrists cut.

I'm just going to use this as a hand review as I have the last couple of posts. Didn't play last night - wife was giving me the shits and so I would have played tilted - went to bed early instead!
NL200 in these stats is from FTP, rest is from Prima. Now sth important. I feel like I'm getting burnt out with 6max and I don't feel at all like playing it today so I'm gonna cancel what I've said like a month or two ago when I said I won't play HU again until the end of this year and that I'd pay anyone who spots me playing I'm gonna take a better approach now. I'm gonna make some rules that I'm gonna follow 100% of the time when playing HU:
- always quit the table after getting stacked twice by the same person (even if he's the biggest fish ever)
- always stop playing whenever I feel that I'm starting to tilt or I'm not focused, not at my A game etc
I can't think of anything else right now but I just want to be more disciplined cause it's my huge leak when it comes to HU. If it starts getting as it was before I'll just give up HU again for now. As for 6max it's definitely going to be my main game - HU is just something different from time to time etc. I'll probably play 6max on Saturday again cause I probably won't have time to play tommorow at all. Oh and for the stakes I'm gonna play at HU, it's gonna be nl200 for now. I want to follow sth like a 100buyin rule for HU and I think my roll is like 28k right now so I can safely play it. That's it pokerwise I guess.
As for nonpoker stuff, I went out on Tuesday and I got sooooooooo wasted that I don't remember half of the night. I had like 34703475 pints and 823457398 JDs+coke and woke up with a sick hangover. Variance, huh?
Tommorow I'm going out with loads of other Polish peoplez who study at unis in Manchester so it should be pretty fun. I'll probably spend the rest of the weekend playing poker and studying. Boringaments.
I mean hes like 26 and makes 500K a month without playing poker !

i dont even know how i managed to have 21 straight winning days when i started at NoIQpoker.
i made + 361 $ from NL 20 the first 21 days.
since then i havent had more than 2 winning days in a row.
always a winning day follewed by a losing day T_T
sadly my losing days have always been a bit higher than my winning days.
I won 31$ and lose 45 $ next day ....
i am down to + 110$ noIQ lifetime. ( like 45 days)
so i lost 250$ the last days at NL20 and i think i will probably 10 table NL10 now ...
Fuck this game, right in the ass. i can't handle being stacked again and again for 1 week str8 with being a huge favorite each mother fucking time and not winning a single hand for a whole week. I dropped half my br on the tables so it's either i cash out the rest OR i take a break,i'll take a decision as soon as i cool down.
i seriously life tilting hardcore now after being DOUBLE ACES CRACKED simultaneously in the 2 tourney i was in including some retarded runner runner flush with Q6o this is so fucking sick i have to admit i can't take this shit anymore, FUCK !

My PAHUD is displaying the stats correctly but they don't refresh. I have to close/open it every 5 minutes to see the new stats. I've tried some random numbers at the refresh rates tab but none of them seem to work. Please help me to configurate it since I'm really lost. Thanks.
