Put in 4909 hands of 25 NL FR tonight. Chip Reese once said that if you're playing well you're doing yourself an injustice and costing yourself money if you quit just because you're ahead. So I put in a ton of volume tonight because I was thinking pretty clearly and playing pretty well. Probably going to be making the jump to 50 NL soon. Have put in 50k hands at 25 NL running ~12 BB/100. This is probably the first time in my life I've ever used real good BR management and the growth of my roll makes me confident I'll keep it up especially since I graduate in May and can't just be an asshole punting away my funds.
So my mouse sucks... it's this piece of shit Logitech that has a little button on the side where I put my thumb that goes to the previous page if you click on it. It's a pretty sweet shortcut if I ever remember to use it correctly, but for the most part I often accidentally press it while I'm reading something, or more importantly, while I'm writing / posting something. Two minutes ago, I got done writing up a very long blog post about how my month has been going, and as I went to click 'Post Message' I accidentally clicked this little shortcut button on my mouse, and POOF it brought me back a page and when I clicked to go back forward, everything I had written got erased. Sickest fucking life. So since it's 2:00am and I'm on such sick life tilt, I'm going to make this very half-assed blog post, instead of re-write what I just wrote out, and hope you stupid mongoloids enjoy it.
If someone cares enough, will you please direct me to a good mouse that works better than this one, because I'm taking a hammer to this piece of shit as soon as I'm done with this post. I'll re-write what I wrote tomorrow, but just so that this post isn't entirely an epic fail I'll leave you guys with a picture of my live bankroll that I'll be bringing to the Wynn on the 5th of March for the Wynn Classic.
So I had a friend over tonight who was just learning poker and I played some .01/.02 and some .10/.25 and man, god, lord, oh heaven, it was EZ
I wish I could make money by playing those games. Stupid games getting harder. NL100 is kicking my ass lately. Well, breaking even.... but I wanna be winnin! Oh well. I've become a much better player in medium/small pots, but I've lost my balls to get value. Midian pointed that out to me and he's so damn right - I took his advice to heart today and really got hardcore on some mediocre hands tonight and got so much more value than I ever would. It was amazing.
It's weird to play microstakes games again. Kinda fun since it's so easy, like going on bnet and playing BGH. I hit a seriously horrendous 30 buyin downswing (about 70% bad luck and 30% bad play) during february and decided to pull out some money to cover basic expenses. Now sitting at $2,600 and slowly rebuilding as I'm not running hot like I did in January. Talk about a wake up call! But it's good. I think I've really learned a lot more about poker, especially how to fold when you have a loser! And how to minimize losses on a strong hand that isn't best.
So I'm totally rambling and I'm not even gonn make an effort to post a sweet pic to get more comments this time. Just drunk and need to ramble. You have no idea how many times I had to hit "backspace" and correct my mistypes.
I still love poker. I am still confident that I know what I'm doing. And I know without a doubt that I have so much to improve on, and that I CAN improve. I know I can learn all these new levels of poker and keep becoming a better player, and I will continue to put all my heart and soul and effort into making it happen. Gotta throw another shoutout to Midian and Snider for their help, and thanks to soAh for starting to help on coaching (though we're yet to have our fist lesson, we're working it out and I have a good feeling about it).
Ok, off to find more alcohol and hopefully some cigarettes!

Watched 3 hours of CR videos yesterday and I was ready to doze the tables after playing very little in the weekend (which I consider as a little break). I cut down the number of tables and analize the best play before making it (8-12 seconds). Things have been going decent in my last sessions. I feel very very good, and even though I'm down $250 (because of this MF standard hand: http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/393893), I haven't make mistakes imo. I know I'm playing good and that's all that matters. I also feel like they've removed the switch on me a little cause I'm starting to hit flushes and sets ;D
Looking forward for March. Fuck february seriously and the extra day of this stupid month this year.
I think I am developing fancy play syndrome at NL50 FR. I must get rid of it lol. It is causing me to spew hard in some spots. Total profit of a buyin at NL50. sigh =(
Variance has caught up with me and Ive been dropping some money the past few days. I think I do play well and I have been owning some bitches pretty bad:
got to 10k today. made me so happy stacking a guy who hits flush at turn then checking behind, then board pairs with my top set lolol. playing some 25nl later just for fun and wind down the day reaching a little milestone. i think i can make 11k by next monday so it's getting pretty sweet going to listen to onward to victory by hatebreed the whole day and loop it. this song gets me soooo pumped up i wanna kick some ass lolol
vPP is at 45k now so supernova is like 2 months from now too. now that'll be even sweeter.
actually now that i think about it, i shouldve been at 13k already if it hadnt been for buying this stupid watch lolol but no regrets, ill get there soon enough. peace.

Today's graph. Was going really slow in the beginning. When I was up 80$ I decided to make a break, have lunch and so forth. Then I start another session and get off to a terrible start, literally losing all the profit I made before. Worst part is that I went all in with the nuts and got kicked in the nuts in return.... or to be precise in the river.
But fortunately I kept my cool and continued grinding. I play 4 tables and 1200 hands is a real nice volume for me standards. Semester officially ended. I threw a motherf*cking huge big party at my place, around 25 people came. Since Poker was treating me rather nicely I spent about a 100$ on Absolut Vodka and beer. Oh yeah, its going good. Been running 11bb/100 lately at NL5 but like -4bb/100 for NL10 cuz I suck. I decided I'll get 25 BI for NL25 through NL5 and just skip NL10 as everyone says there's so much variance. So fuck this poker shit, let's get on with the story!
Alright, so it was my 18th 6 days ago, and I celebrated it by ordering a $30 steak at a local fancyish restaurant. I then celebrated with my family and got $250 in cash cuz I asked for money and no gifts. But my parents are pretty financially stable, and gave me a Bose Accoustic Noise Canceling ver. 3 Headphones (~$350) so its fucking sick as shit! They're SO GOD DAMN COMFORTABLE. It's like putting the comfiest pillows on your ears with a fucking million dollar sound system coming right into your ears.
So far in Feb. I've played 11k hands of NL5 and I'm up $130 so its all good I hope to hit NL25 by end of March, as I'm going to try to play 25k hands in the next 30 days. I hope I can do it.

I just found out this new band, and they're coming to my city in like 2 weeks with 2 of my other favorite bands so I'm so excited to see them.
This hand I was mega tilting on the river and he really only ever has like 2 hands that I could possibly be ahead of and the rest beat me. Given his turn action I think this is a flush like 99% of the time and I made a really horrible call. At least he left me with .05 cents though. :-D
This hand I was trying to rep a lot of different things since both draws got there etc. I think if he doesn't have the Ac he should definitely be folding as we don't have any history together. I don't know if I like his play but I think my play is decent to good.
Mcctrick19 is one of my favorite people to battle with. We both get a little frisky from time to time and I definitely think his hand is wayyyyyy behind my range but I am not sure if he is priced in because I am shoving AJs+ 99+ here all day.
Quite a big shove but I was steaming a little bit more than likely and I said F it and went with it. Obviously only going to get called by 2 worse hands or 2 better hands so I don't hate my shove, I just think I should have four bet smaller instead.

Had a really good session yesterday and won about 4-5 buyins, felt good obv but then i went to the movies and saw Jumper. total wase of time. Here i go expecting a cool action movie w/ good effects and a hot chick... what do i get...nothing, hate the fucking luckbox Hayden Christensen. He only got to play anakin in star wars because hes Natalie Portmans friend. Have to see Awake, to justify me hate. And in the movie he sucks too, not only his acting but his character aswell. there is like 4 main fights, and he loses them ALL, big time.
Played 146 hands just now, lost 3 buyins. Biggest hands were one flush over flush, one 3 outer im forced to call and a good call by villain. He had like TPBK and i had flush and gut draw...
Well, it happens...or thats what im saying to my 3d beer. Gonna to see another movie soon, dunno what i should see buy i guess I'll figure that out when i get there.
