WELCOME TO TILTVILLE, POPULATION: ME
All tables closed, time to sleep.
Playing with an att to steal of 48 and having your AA win the blinds - EVERY SINGLE TIME (seen flops: 0 OK?) is the most tilt inducing thing in the whole god damn world.
Ghjjjjjjjjjjjjjffffffffffghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
AA = 100% winrate, 43$ profit in 5 goes (1000 hands).
KK = 100% winrate, 63$ profit in 5 goes. Again, right around 0 flops seen.
QQ = 83% winrate, down 16$, 6 goes, saw like 1 flop and lost to 93o.
I don't really care so much about all of the above, it's just that one last hand - so completely 100% pointless. Just giving the money away..
Barely played any poker at all this month, and handled every beat without feeling tilted, and now today this fucking mess.. I just shouldn't have played today, felt tilted from the moment I woke up
Btw, before anyone thinks I'm busto or something, I only lost like 3 buyins.
It was just that one hand that makes me so furiously disappointed in myself.
after so many 2nd and 3rd place finishes, i finally beat one

all i did today poker-wise was play in a bunch of $1 MTTs and a $4 180. got like 40th in the 180-man, got three 2nd, a 3rd and 4th place finishes in the 45-man. the day started with my friend giving me a dollar on stars so i can play an MTT with him, so my BR went from $1 to $23 today. pretty cool. see you at the tables
i asked my friend to ship me $1.10 so i can play in a 45man..and he wanted to play in it also, so we made a little last longer bet. he landed an impressive 5th place, but i bested him with a 4th place finish
ship it son! $0 to $6, holla
EDIT -
SO GOD DAMN SICK

I have a new love, and it's not ape smashing bitches at NL400 on stars. It would be a girl, but I have a new years resolution to keep-up so it can't be that! My new love started last Saturday when I went to a local Surf shop and finally got myself a fin for my 9 foot longboard. Strapped my board onto the top of my car and took the 10 min drive out to La Jolla Shores beach at around noon. Everyday since Saturday I've been out to La Jolla Shores surfing and wow... it's a fucking blast. At first I was pretty terrible, but now I can get up a ride a few of the smaller waves pretty well. My goal... even though it might be impossible... and a bit suicidal... is to be like this guy:

ok i've been on my 6th day of losing now i took my 8 bi to over 100 bi and ran into a very cold streak of cards the last week. talk about losing some hands AK vs A2c flop top 2 and he hits runner runner flush, next beat AA vs QQ 592r i bet he raises i push all in and he waits and calls and hits the q on the river 2 outter love it, had KK bl 100/200 utg bets 600 next pos raises to 2k i push a 4k stack in 22 calls all his chips on 22 and flops the 2 got to love being 2 outted again...seems like every time im running good poker stars runs updates on my computer program for stars and here comes the cold cards all over again so after a week im going to take a couple days off to try to get this cold streak off me...let me know if anyone else has had the updates and then lost for a couple days

drop to $90 this morning, played like 14 or so games and only cashed 3rd in one of them. most of my eliminations were complete suck outs, especially things like AK v A6 or people going all in with inside straight draws and hitting. oh, and losing every coin flip and missing like 80% of my draws, which made me donk off some more chips in situations where i shouldn't have. blah, i'm gonna stop for now before i hit the curb.
Been doing very well this month up till about 2 days ago. I had 3 bad sessions in a row playing 3/6 6max and i did a lot of thinking/work on why i was playing bad. A lot of it was running bad but i definitely was not playing my best. I had about an 8 buyin downswing over the course of 3-4k hands, so i went through all the pots over 30bb i played and looked through PT to find some errors and i think i corrected most of them. So far ive won 5 buyins back and im going to play till i win about 5 more buyins before moving back into higher 6max games. Anyway, here are the pt stats for january so far:
Its not listed because its at the bottom, but ive started tinkering around at 2/4 hu. i really want to improve my hu game so im going to start at 2/4 and work my way up after i win about 20-30 buyins at each level. ive never really spent any time working on it and i believe being a good hu player is the key to moving past 10/20 and 25/50. ill probably spent some time watching all the hu videos on CR and going through sessions of hands to see how the game flow is going.
Outside of poker there are 2 new possible loves in my life. The first is mr townsends now ex assistant brooke. it seems she is no longer under mr rugbys wing and a free bird these days. as andrew proved in an earlier blog entry, her name along means shes hot so we should be on the search for her. lets track her down. i typed brooke into google images and these are some of the brookes who i dont recognize that might be her:
Any of these could be her.
Also, i never watch the show usually, but kathy daut convinced me to watch american idol with her the other night. I fell in love with one of the contestants, kristy lee cook: She trains MMA (sick armbar in the video), is super hot, good country singer and is going to be famous soon. if anyone knows how i can get in touch with said goddess let me know! check out her american idol video (YOU HAVE TO CLICK COMMENTS TO SEE THE BLOG ENTRY AND VIDEO FOR SOME REASON):

Alright, the electronic poker tables open today at the Montreal casino. There will be 25 tables starting at nl200, i obviously don't have the roll to feel confortable but im sure i can beat it as live should be ez.
Dealers are trying to close these tables because they were not satisfied by the salary the casino want to give them. They would be paid like 16$/hour + tips, wtf ? fucking greedy bastards i hope they fail and the tables will remain opened ! rakeback is 10% capped to 5 bucks THIS IS SO SWEET ! + i'll be able to play much more hands than if it was with a real dealer. I just can't tell how much i love the idea, more hands, less rakeback, no tips, same donks.
Is this a perfect formulae for making ton of cash ? Now the problem is i obviously don't have 6k right now and if i use my personal cash my wife is gonna insta-kill me. So what should i do from now ?
Poll: What should i do ?
(Vote): Play with 5 Bis and hope i run good
(Vote): Wait for at least 20 bis before going
and i suck at it wtf, started with 170 or 180 (don't remember) and i only placed in like 4. i got knocked out hecka early in 3 of them (like first level early) because of stupid calls. anyways ended the night w/ 168, which isn't too bad i guess. i'm up $8 today, so at least that's good. hopefully i'll have a good session tomorrow, i will try to reach 200 by the end of the week.
update - got first in a $3 45-man, which brought my BR up to 187, had 5 other SNGs open which i lost 3 of them to suckouts and got 3rd in another.
Well, I won a $4 180-man. The final three was insane. This one guy literally never folded any hand and would call shoves on the flop with no pair no draw 100% of the time. I'll post some of the hands later.
