I'm curious about doing some volunteer work overseas, in less fortunate countries, tho I don't have any "useful" skills that'll be a benefit to anyone. If I go to college, what should I take that'll be useful for volunteer work and helping people? something no longer than 1-2 years, any ideas?
It feels pretty shitty knowingly living a meaningless life. Sitting in front of my computer all day has taken it's tole on me; depression. I need to find something more.. I've been losing interest in poker for awhile now. so clueless on what to do with my life.
How do I go about learning a new language? Any good sites out there that make it easy? thinking of learning Portuguese, since I have family living in Portugal - not sure if it's a difficult language to learn.. any advice would be appreciated
My main game is FR, but i've been trying to learn HU lately. Is it worth working on my HU game? or should I focus 100% on FR. I've been playing HU because I want to improve my game in general, but i've been spewing alot of money trying to learn HU..eventhough im playing at nl100 instead of nl200, im begining to think I should just stick to FR forever :/
I don't know if it's tilt that causes me to play so poorly.. but I make a ton of ridiculous/stupid call downs with bottom pair hands. Also It's annoying finding people that'll play me, I get hit and run 10 times in a row before finding an opponent. 90% of regs are bumhunters, and most fish just leave after winning ~20$. plus I can't even play more than 2 tables
I imagine i'll have to get better at HU sooner or later, right? :/ i'd really appreciate some advice on how to play these hands correctly

I play 1/2 FR, 2/4 soon, but I have no tournament experience. Do you guys think it's +EV for me to start playing in the Sunday millions?
I've only played in a few tournaments in the past year, I often get impatient when playing them, and I usually regret wasting my time when busting but I imagine I'll improve in those areas as I play more
thought i'd update the blog since I have nothing eles better to do while pulling an all nighter.
Haven't been playing alot of poker lately because I decided to treat myself with a two week trip to Montreal with some RB money
I went there mainly for an electronica/house music festival that lasted 4days, it was alot of fun.. Montreal's so alive comapared to where I live, such a nice city.
I only played like 30k hands last month, 30k this month so far.. gotta start focusing more on poker again. I also just recently started taking ADD medication for my ADD, I haven't taken any until now. Poker is the main reason I decided to start taking any, I don't feel a big difference in focus yet.. maybe a slight improvement in mental endurance when playing long sessions, but not much. The psychiatrist told me that the pills will help me do better in poker, I found that pretty funny
Also played abit of live poker while I was there, I played 2/4 and it was reallyy juicy... but I ended up lossing anyways because I suck at live poker and don't have the patience for it. It's boring playing against a table full of nits and retards!
I raise 35 UTG with JJ, UTG 3bets to 100, all folds to BB, BB shoves.
Me: 1400, been playing TaGish
UTG+1: 800, only played like 30 hands with him , seems good so far, young guy.
BB: 500. Biggest donk ever. Seen him get 100bb in pf with 23o, he splashing money all over..easily has much worse.
