BET RAISE FOLD - some clips/deleted stuff
  DustySwedeDude, May 04 2013

I liked this clip:

The trailer was really cool:

This was somewhat awkward:

(although, the ending is true for poker at least, "I don't win because I'm good, I win because everyone is terrible".

I really want to see this. Been rewatching 2 months 2 millions with my gf and even she likes it, despite it being very nerdy at some points.

Ok, let's eat it.
  DustySwedeDude, Apr 29 2013

Got a few things I wanted to talk about.

Gold got absolutely smashed a few weeks back. Too many theories about why so I won't even go there. I find some of the conspiracy nuts equally ridiculous as the guys who believes that gold just decided to suddenly drop like 10% over a few days for no reason after being a somewhat stable store of value for 5k+ years. I think it's probably just a little bit of wall street 2 going on, everything is leveraged to hell which makes really strange things happen. I think that a bunch of big western banks or other entities plays gold both long and short in an attempt to just smash causal traders and abuse sell-/buy-stops a fair bit too. So far it seems that the only thing that happened was that the demand for physical gold went trough the roof and unless the demand let's off again as prices goes back to "normal" this drop might've been a very good thing for gold. I'm fairly sure it will though, at least for a while, and the gold chart and such looks fairly bad so I think it'll take a while before we have a decent rally. Worst case scenario we'll see another leg down before anything good happens.

Anyway, since I've been living with my girlfriend for about two years I've learned never to waste a good discounts so I put some more money into metal streaming companies (this is not investing advice, blablabla) and bought some silver and gold coins. The delivery on the gold is fairly late, go figure. It's about two weeks now which is somewhat impressive considering the silver was sent in a day or two. Apparently a lot of things are sold out and it's a shortage of certain kinds of coins and investment bars in various places around the world.

The good news is that a silver dollar seems to be the right size, shape and weight to serve as a chip protector. Also, it makes a very distinct "clink" when you flip it in the air which is cool.

As far as poker goes my PLO winrate is ridiculous. I'm not playing enough to I'm crushing hard the few hands I do play. Running way above ev for the most part and not playing that many tables is nice. Running good at 10/20 PLO HU also helps, heh.

Trying to get Longple to tag along to Unibet Open in Portugal in a month or so with the plan of swapping like 10%, bust early day one and still get 10% of the first prize money. That'd be nice.

Tournaments has been going well. I min cashed in a bunch of high buy in tournaments this weekend and I've had a bunch of medium sized scores the last few weeks. Still down in tournaments lifetime (at least I think so, not really keeping tabs) but the last few months I've won a few K each month playing most of the big Sundays. Been watching a lot of runitonce content for MTT and PLO and it has helped out with both games. Thinking of playing a bunch of Scoop events, probably anything I know how to play that runs on Sundays and the big PLO/5cPLO/croucewhatever-stuff.

If anyone wants to buy action I'll probably be selling a bit at the following events assuming I play them:

High: $2,100 Pot Limit Omaha Heads-Up
High: $1,050 Pot Limit 5-Card Omaha Six-Max Rebuy - (not sure how to sell action in a rebuy, might skip selling for this one to get rid of the headache)
High: $1,050 Pot Limit Omaha Six-Max, Turbo, Rebuy - (not sure how to sell action in a rebuy, might skip selling for this one to get rid of the headache)
High: $1,050 Mixed No Limit Hold’em/Pot Limit Omaha - (stupid crap is running when I want to go to BJJ-class, so not sure if I'll play it)
High: $1,050 Pot Limit Courchevel 1 Rebuy, 1 Add-on Turbo - I love that game, I played a ton of it 5/10 HU while people still played it
High: $2,100 Pot Limit Omaha Turbo, Zoom - This one looks like something I'd be good at.
High: $5,200 Pot Limit Omaha Six-Max - Looks like great fun, probably fairly crappy value but it's scoop and very few people in the poker population knows how to play PLO well so if the field is big enough it might be worth it.

I'll possibly sell action in whatever high NL they run on Sundays too, but unless the fields in the "high" ones are really soft I'll just skip those I think. Saving like 10k in buyins would reduce variance a fair bit, heh.

Full disclosure:

1. Only time I ever sold action in online tournaments before I missed an event and thereby almost scammed Nolan out of 50 USD or something like that. It was a mistake (I forgot one of the tournaments) and I felt bad about it forever. Fairly sure most people consider me a good guy anyway.
2. I'm not in any way, shape or form sure that I'm a favourite in these. I'm fairly sure I'd be in the Courchevel and I would guess I am in most of the other's. Unsure about the 5.2k PLO-even, it depends a lot on how many randoms satellites in. However, I'm sure enough of myself that I'll play at least a couple of them regardless if anyone wants any piece of me.
3. Not gonna sell action to random. Only to people I know or who is respected on this site/vouched for by someone I know and trust.
4. Will send screenshot of my HEM2-database to anyone who passes point 3. and is interested. The PLO-cash stats are impressive, the MTT stats are not.
5. Unless demand is ridiculous I'll just sell 1:1 or swap % straight up I think. When I have a big db of me beating both MTT's and cash games I'll start selling at a premium, heh.

Also, I may or may not be online much the next few days so I might take a while to get back to anyone who tries to contact me. Facebook is probably the easiest way to get hold of me about anything that can't wait 3-4 days unless you have my phone number or e-mail.

I'm a big fan. Her fights are always cool and she doesn't talk too much shit. Also the Scottish accent is great. Probably my favourite female fighter.

Make sure to have enough saving to survive unemployment for 6 months or preferably more. If you're a poker player, make sure that at least some of your profits are reachable even if your bank account would stop working for extended amounts of time.

If you lived in Cyprus you sure as hell would've liked cash at home.

Bank accounts stopped working for a few days on Cyprus.

Don't think there's been any food crisis yet, but I still think it'd be good to have some around. I should get some canned foods.

Youth unemployment (and in some parts real unemployment) is at record levels.

I'd say that was pretty good advice.

Not that much riots. I guess a little bit of it in Greece. I assume bank runs will start as soon as the banks on Cyprus opens and a lot of people are calling for the withdrawal of any savings or investments form the Euro zone or at least from the South of Europe. Not that far of.

The SEK is doing well, the Euro is not really. Gold is doing ok but it's down the last 6 months or so. Still feel that gold is a lot safer then the Euro.

We still have a housing bubble. For more info, in Swedish: http://cornucopia.cornubot.se/2013/03/jo-hans-lind-visst-har-vi-en.html According SCB, prices on Houses fell during 2012 for the first time since 1992.

Watch how country after country in the EU will need to be bailed out and eventually the Bundesbank won't be able to stop ECB from printing money and creating inflation. Inflation is a lot like a tax on money, and it's sneaky as hell. The FED will soon (within the year) start some kind of QE3 in disguise and print a shit ton of money and create even more inflation. Sooner or later China won't be able to drive the world economy. This fractional reserve banking system we have will most likely cause a fairly big collapse.

Still hearing stuff about "recovery". QE3, or QE to infinity, was announced and implemented. Inflation is under control they say. Shadowstats, other web sites and people who buy stuff ins stores. Doesn't seem to agree. Japan elected some guy who makes Ben Bernanke seem like a hawk.

China is still going (relatively) strong and the FRB-system has not collapsed yet.

I'm still a gold bug. Maybe I can take away the "paranoid" part now? Italy did not need a bail out so far, and right now it seems like France is closer. UFC Betting
  DustySwedeDude, Mar 23 2013

I'm going to Gustafsson vs Mousasi and I'm going to do a bit of betting.

I've put a large bet on Laflair over Alloway. Odds was 1.85 so he has to win a little more then half the time for me to breakeven. While Laflair has something of a can crushing record he seems like he's a solid fighter with good athleticism and Alloway just seems to lose whenever he fights someone good. Also TUF contestants are almost always overvalued when it comes to odds.

I put a small bet on Peralta vs Akira, mostly because while Akira is a solid bad ass in his own right and fairly decent in most parts of fighting Peralta is just a monster who is only getting better and simply doesn't lose standing. Akira do have some KO-power but other then that I think he's fucked as far as the match up goes. Odds was 1.5 on Peralta so I need him to win more then 67% to make money.

The card can be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UFC_on_Fuel_TV_9

I think the main even is kinda unplayable because Mousasi is just too much hit or miss and while Gustafsson should win the odds are simply not good enough to bet against Mousasi. Couture vs Pearson seems like it'd be a stomp from Pearson but again the odds just isn't there.

Picket vs Easton will be a hell of a fight but I'm not familiar enough with the fighters so I probably won't bet it.

Brandao should win vs Garza but Garza tends to spoil parties and Brandao's conditioning seems slightly suspect.

As far as the preliminary card goes I picked against Madidi and basically said he was drawing dead last fight but he ended up "losing" the fight because of bad judges so I can't really pick against him again. Johnson is fairly solid though so I'm not at all sold on it.

Havn't found odds on Troeng vs Cella yet, but considering how Troeng has fought a lot of really good fighters and Cella has yet to fight anyone with a winning record (except on TUF) and 3 of his 4 wins are against people with 0 wins I will put down a fairly big bet on Troeng if there's decent odds. I'm also fairly sure that he'll look better fighting in Sweden then Cella who probably isn't used to travel around the world for fights.

Don't know why Spång is a favorite over Amagov, I was hoping to bet Spång as an underdog. Dude has some serious striking. Thinking of betting Amagov hoping that the Russin comes with a game plan and grapplefucks Spång, which might happen. Not sold on it yet though, gonna read up a little more and watch the line.

Brimage vs McGregor will be fun to watch. No idea who wins.

Kuiper vs Lawlor seems fun too. The problem is that Lawlor is pretty good and Kuiper is kind of the Struve of the middleweights. I'm not sold on how smart he fights. Might bet him as an underdog anyway just because of his potential, but I'm not at all sure about that.

Abedi vs Yousef is one of those fights I can't decide what will happen in either. On one hand I'm not sure if Yousef can survive the first round. On the other I think he will win easy if he does. Abedi and conditioning is just a match made in hell for some reason. Might put in a bet on Yousef but I have seen to little of them for me to feel good about that.

Any thoughts? Ideas? Anything?

UO Copenhagen
  DustySwedeDude, Mar 12 2013

Life is like a sewer-

what you get out of it depends of what you put in.

I wrote the part about the day 1 hands before day 2. I wrote the part before “day 1b went well” before day 1. Thus I'll keep it like this despite the fact that it might look kind of silly.

We'll all go togheter when we go... At least that will be the case if North Korea gets holds of a big enough number of ICBMs.

I'm old. Went to Unibet Open in Denmark. Day before my 1b start day some young guys asked me if I was Dustyswede. I told them yes, they told me they knew my a little bit from liquidpoker, one of them got coaching from a well known LPer and asked me if he could send me some hands to look over. I like polish people, or at least the few I've meet, so I told him yes. My girlfriend commented on how young they looked. I realised I had turned old. Most people at these tournaments are older then me, but in a quite weird way I'm still one of the old guys. When I post this I'll probably have turned 26, for internet poker that's probably something like 52 in real life. Might very well have couple of more good years but if I'd turned out to be a real star or something it'd already happened. Not a “has been”, more like a “maybe could've been”. At least that means I don't have to stay up partying all night to keep up a reputation.

Only a cat of a different coat,
that's all the truth I know.
In a coat of gold or a coat of red,
a lion still has claws,
And mine are long and sharp, my lord,
as long and sharp as yours.

Game of thrones starts soon. I'm hyped.

Day 1b went well. Start stack 20k, blinds 25/50. Limp UTG, I raise AQcc CO and SB and UTG calls. Flop KJhh9c. Check, check, I cbet 300 into 600. I get two calls. Turn Tc and I start to get excited but a little bit annoyed that I can't figure out the best size to get value. No worries. SB leads 500 into ~1500, UTG raises to 1k, I 4bet to 4.2k. SB snap calls, UTG snap calls. Turn is a beautiful 8 of spades. SB checks, UTG leads 4k, I raise to 12.5, SB snap calls and UTG snapcalls. Both have QJ. Best first hand of a tournament I've ever seen.

Played a few other confusing hands. I made 2-3 bad folds, at least I think so, and one or two decent enough calls.

First one is me raising in middle pos with reasonably deep and fairly irrelevant stack sizes. I have 76dd, middle aged Danish guy seems like an decent amateur calls me in the position after me. He lost the last hand after playing it weird (raised K9o on J9X mono without a flushdraw, bet K-turn and check behind J river losing to KQ) and looks tilted. Everyone else folds. I

Flop comes 655ss and I cbet. He looks like he wants to raise, messing around with chips and then decides to call my smallish cbet. Turn is a 3h and I check/call a normal size bet. River comes a off suit A, I check, be bets about two thirds pot and I call fairly fast thinking that his betting range is Ax with spades, 5x and 66 for value and a whole bunch of draws for bluffs. Good?

+ Show Spoiler +

Next hand blinds are 50/100, I have between 50 and 60k and the other two guys in the hand has ~20k. I have showed down a bunch of good hand and overall won every pot I've put a lot of money in by showing down the best had. People has been commenting on it.

I raise 54 of spades from early position. I get a call from a somewhat spazzy dane in mid pos and a fairly good, somewhat aggressive dane in the blinds. Flop comes A65 rainbow with a spade, I cbet 400 into 800 or something like that, first guy raises to 1.2k and the dane in the blinds cold calls. I raise to 4.2k risking 3.8 to win 3.2 planing to maybe win the pot when I hit any draw on the turn in case they call. Like?

+ Show Spoiler +

Third hand: Good danish pro raises UTG to 800 at 200/400+antes with about 30k, I call TT planing to ship against a lot of guys if we get 3bet. Spazzy danish guy who showed down J8o after 3betting my MP raise in late pos 3bets to 2.2k or something like that. UTG 4bets to 5.2k or something like that.

+ Show Spoiler +

Lots of fun people are here. I know maybe 5-6 of the guys who are still in. MR_Jimmy has 30ish BB's going into day two and the guy with the best nick name ever, El_Duderinio (spelling?) has about the same. I have 110600 going into day two, which is a top5 stack with maybe 150 runners still in the tournament. Probably around 40 people ITM and 100k€+ for first. One time?

Day 2 went well. I played decent at times but I also made some seriously silly mistakes. Wanted to write “sillyish”, but someone pointed out that I use “-ish” and “-y” far too much. I started the day with 110600 chips, got it down to 90 or so and then this hand happened:

I raise black off suit AJ from EP to 2.5k with blinds at 500/1k + antes. Young guy who looks like he might be from Finland or some other pokering country who stole the last pot from me and looks like the type of person who might feel that one pot won is a green light to run me over calls and some guy in the blinds calls. Flop is866hh and I cbet 4k 8-9k or whatever and he decides to ship his 30k behind. I think for about 10 seconds and decides that it's hard as hell to have 9x, he wouldn't play QQ+ or 6x like that and it's not that many combos of TT-JJ. I call. He flips over Th8h and looks really confused about my call; “I'm ahead???” he says and as the turn falls the guy next to him goes; “not anymore”. River is a brick and I was back at 120k or so.

Not sure if my call is good, I tend to think it is considering that ICM isn't a factor and the guy probably has a fairly narrow value shoving range. Any opinions?

Platyed one hand later at 2k/4k blinds with 400 ante. At least I think it was. I raise 88 UTG, famous Danish comedian calls with 100k+ UTG+1, he's been flatting my raises a few times. Some random with maybe 45-50k (that is, probably 12bb) goes all in and then another guy with as much goes all in behind, I thought. I ask for counts on everyone involved, pretty dealer with red glasses does all that stuff and then I ship. Comedian folds and the other guys turns over AQ and KK. I figured it wasn't that bad because I'll still have 150k if I lose, flop comes J72 rainbow and I start to lose interest. Turn comes 9x and some guy says “Ten, you need a ten” and I go like “oh, right” when a ten falls om the river and I knock two people out with my straight. Later I find out that I listened all too little on the dealer because the KK-guy did in fact not have about 50k bur rather somewhere north of a 100k. Duh.

I then get moved to the TV table. I play one weird hand when I 3bet the very active chip leader with KQo BB vs B, c/c J97ss where I have backdoor spades and c/f's 7x. He flips over a 7 and claims a full house. Confusing hand.

TT vs AA

With 13 people left some active HU-pro from France raise UTG. I have BB with less then 20 blinds, I ship TT he snaps AA. Flop Txx and turn + river blanks. I'm back at a decent stack size.

Then I'm card dead for 1 hour, get AA once and takes down a medium pot and finally there's only 9 left and we break for the day.

At the final table I throw ICM out the window, I wan't top 3 or I want to go home. I raise ATo from CO with 22 blinds, Swedish guy who seems nice, knows some well known 25/50 pros and already had two small glasses of something whiskey-looking raises (or ships, can't remember) and I stick it in . AK holds and I'm out. I think that was probably a ~3k€ mistake on my part considering all the short stacks but I'll take it.

Overall I played fairly tight, rather badly and with a flair for not doing to much stupid or overly aggressive. Played better at so many tournaments but never gone this far live. Go figure. If I can just learn to play NL again I might actually feel good about my MTT-game.

I'd be really grateful for comments on the hands. I'm not at all sure how I played them.

Stuff and stuff
  DustySwedeDude, Mar 03 2013

Poker in February was fairly bad. Played probably like 10-15k hands and lost a couple of K's. Was up 15k or so mid month and then proceed to drop it in a couple of bad-ish 10/20 sessions. Annoying. Played a big live. On ~400€ PLO event with something like 40 players in which I finished probably 2-3 spots away from the bubble. Did not get any hands but out of the ~25 people I was at the same table as during the event I found 1 person who I considered half decent and in all likelihood someone who had played the game before. Then I played some 1.2K NL thingy which I did decent in until I ran 80 bbs, or 2x avarage, into topset with my 88 on T84ss against some guy who I had tangled with a bit. I also played some live 20/20 SEK which is something like 3/3€ or so some Saturday night since my girlfriend wanted me to tag along to the casino to see some friends of hers.

Played one hand that wasn't super standard. Before this hand I sat with 3000 SEK or so after having shipped over a squeeze while talking like a mad man and overall made my best "I have AA"-impression which got me folds. Young guy who seems to be friendly with some good tournament players and I've seen in some highish stakes tournaments (like 1-1.5k buy ins) raises in CO to something like 5 or 6bb's with like 200bb behind, some other 25-30 y/o who seems like he is some kind of "live reg" and sits really deep calls and some fish calls. I call BB with T7ss which obviously is questionable. Flop is A87 rainbow with a spade. I decide to lead to get rid of the guy I suspect might be good, he mumbles something confused and the live reg calls. Fish folds. I think I put something like 450 into 600 or so but I'm not completely sure but pot is ~1400 and I've got 2400 or something behind. Turn is 9s giving me a straight draw and a flush draw to go with my seven. From the moment I put money in the pot on the flop I've started talking a ton of random crap with some tilted fish who isn't in the pot and also made a couple of weird claim about my hand. I keep doing that and put 900 into 1400 leaving me with 1500 or so behind in case he calls. Likey y/n? I can't play NL lol.

The weight bet is going fine. In 4 weeks I've lost 7.5 kilos and I think I'm losing just over 1kg/week right now which is about the right amount from my perspective. I'm still fairly low on energy from time to time but I feel fine and I'm seldom hungry thanks to my paleo-ish diet. Still favour a lot of fruit and stuff rather than fat but that's mostly to keep my calorie intake very low. Getting down to ~90kg by late June would be good for me and then maybe something like 85 during late summer would be ideal.

I'm also very happy that my small bet on Okami over Lombard worked out. Was a little worried in the third but Lombard is simply not a very smart fighter and I suspect he has some cardio issues. Dude's just a brawler and he has too much muscle on his frame. I was right when I wrote:

"Huge size difference, Okami having much better wins the last few years and the fact that Lombard haven't really beaten anyone in the top 10 makes me think that Okami might decision him.

Also before the KO (that he probably learned from) Okami was schooling Boetsch who got a fairly close win over Lombard, so unless Lombard brings his real A-game I don't think he'll actually win standing unless he gets the KO."

UFC 158 seems like it'd be hard to bet on though. Maybe Nate over Ellenberger if the odds are good enough, but I'll probably just end up watching it and rooting for Diaz. UFC on Fuel TV: Gustafsson vs. Mousasi will probably have a lot more good opportunities to put bets down. I think Robbie Peralta over Akira will be a fairly safe bet if the odds are reasonable and Ryan LaFlare "should" win over Alloway. Might wanna look close at Amagov vs Spång too. Unless Amagov decides too grapple Spång will be a live dog.

Losing weight-bet
  DustySwedeDude, Feb 19 2013

So I made a bet with my father in law. I'm supposed to lose 16 kilos in 4 months. I started at 108 which makes me a fatty and first two weeks I managed to lose 5.5kg. I think it's mostly water weight, but still. Feeling fairly good even though I'm sleeping a bit more and I notice that without carbs I can't play 12 tables for shit. Not all bad new though, 6-tabling makes me play better. My strategy is to take one or two decent walks each day and eat very clean, very often and not very much. I'm eating tons of fruits, cottage cheese, greens, yoghurt and berries. I also eat a lot of chicken, some meat with good nutrition values and fish. In addition to that I drink vitamin drinks and some protein shakes (those with few calories and extra fibres) to make sure I get all the stuff I need while I'm on this diet.

Gonna start running as soon as I can without risking breaking my legs on the snow/ice/general crap on the streets and possibly take some green tea extracts and other things if I stop losing about 1kg/week. Probably going to cut a little bit of water or something the last day or so to win this little bet, but that shouldn't be a problem. When I reach 92kg I'll try to keep losing like 2kg per month or so until I'm at 85kg or so. I think that'd have to be my goal.

This brings me to another point. I'm absolutely horrible at doing things half-ass. When I put a ton of energy into something, this bet might actually be borderline unhealthy, I tend to preform really well but if I try to do something less then 110% I tend to under preform a lot. Is this true for most poker players?

Anyway, poker went very well in January and while I've won a fair bit (low 5 figs) this month two my volume has been pathetic and I really have no excuse other then the diet and the lack of energy I feel from it. Might try to ad some carbs in the mornings or whatever. Also toying with the idea of playing like 100 MTT's ranging between like 20 and 250 EU buyins and see how I do. Watching a couple of MTT videos and it seems really fun and might be the change of pace I'd need. It also seems like it might be slighly softer then cash games.

Other then that Fringe is a really nice TV-series that should get more buzz. As far as movies goes I want to see The Master, Lincoln and maybe Silver Linings Playbook. Are those any good?

very nice interview, dusty! thanks. you seem a good person

Thanks! I do consider myself a fairly good person. I live by the words of the good Heinlein; "Sin lies only in hurting others unnecessarily. All other "sins" are invented nonsense."

Are you still on prima? I think I remember you playing a bit of PLO there.

Dude tell us more about your work for the Libertarian Party of Sweden, that sounds awesome. Great interview just being greedy obv

Well, I've done a ton of research about a bunch of stuff and helped out with some small legal issues. Other then that I've helped a little bit with the start up one local organisation and spent A LOT of time writing stuff for them. The situation is a little unclear right now, but I think there's about a 70% chance of me getting on the board after the congress later this spring. It'd be some serious fun trying to help build a very small party into something slightly less small. I have some many ideas I wanna try out and I'll probably get twice as many later when I get hold of a bunch of books and other things on the subject.

In case they decided to put me on the board I'll write a lot more about it, promise .

Nice interview Dusty, I hope u dont come down to 100 plo prima too often to rape me

I highly doubt I rape at PLO100, my concentration levels tend to sink a bit . I mostly play lower if I have to get hands in and nothing higher is running, but since there's no fun rake races in February I think I'll stay away .

Other then that I play two of the dumbest hands of my life tonight. Me and mepwnya agreed that I should've showed the first one just to make runitonce coach Isildrooon consider me even more of a retard. The 2nd one was just dumb in all regards, but I managed to get one small piece of information. The guy has absolutely no respect for my game. Like, for him to play something like that he has to consider me dumber then a bag of bricks.

That's probably good information that I'm spewy and should spend a month or two shaping my game up before I keep going with my 10/20 shots... Let's see if I'm disciplined enough.

Mark Hunt seems like such a great dude. Bob Sapp is so damn big. Saku seems fairly big too.

also, what are your thoughts on the wild swedish bank shootout

your fan,

Swedish bankrobbers are probably not as well prepared as some others. Just seemed like some random people with some stupid ass ideas. Sad that one died.

Awesome results. Do you only play PLO?

Almost, some MTT's and some tripple draw too.

Anyway, having another really good month. Bad volume but running really good. Like ridiculous. Playing a bit of mid stakes and then any decent 5/10 and 10/20 game I happen to get a seat in. Prima has no waiting lists, so it's a bit of a gamble.

Still annoyed with the weather. It's cold as fuck here so I stay in to much, not getting enough sun light and getting a little winter depressed. That shit needs to go away soon, been having it for a long time now. Thought a good upswing would fix it but it seems like I was wrong in that assumption. Regarding doing shit I've put down a ton of work with the Swedish Libertarian Party and I actually got a call which was rather interesting. It's a secret for a few months but basically I'll have a fairly decent chance to actually do something fairly worthwhile which will probably give me a sense of accomplishment and meaning and whatnot this summer. I think it'll be good for me.

I feel I need the following:

- Doing more shit outside and/or exercise more. Shit will come when it gets warmer.
- Figure out how to get more volume in without getting so bored.
- Keep doing shit. I want to do all kinds of shit. I want to leave some kind of little mark on this world, I want to buy a nice house, I want to make a lot of money, I want to figure shit out, I want to understand stuff, I want to "get" stuff. Can't do that without some hard work.

I have that "HARD WORK ---- PAYS OFF!" from Tito vs Chuck TUF in my head. I can't stand Tito (except he should've gotten an Oscar for best male supporting actor in Zombie Strippers) but that rings true to me.

Other then that Tom Deblass said this in some interview before he signed with UFC;

“I think the toughest point is whenever you think you’re on top, you always get knocked back down,” DeBlass said. “I’m waiting for that to happen. Everybody says that it has to happen. I want to believe that it won’t happen. Just having that haunts you every day you wake up. Yeah, I’m on top of the world now, but that could end real quick. Just knowing the possibility that I could lose, it’s disappointing before it’s even happened.”

I'm like that, not sure if it's good or not. He sure did not preform in the UFC, even though I think he got kind of screw with short notice stuff.

I deleted all computer games from my computer a couple of days ago. I'm super bored. It's annoying because I get somewhat annoyed all the time, but on the other hand I tend to play a million small poker sessions. That's good. Had a 10k day or so thanks to that today. Or I might've dipped a bit at the end. Dunno, in the neighbourhood at least.

I watched JCVD on netflix. It was fairly entertaining. Thinking about watching Bronson tomorrow. Looks great. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1172570/

Put down 5000 SEK or about 750 USD on Mighty Mouse over Dodson. Not sure why, guess I feel for the group pressure. Might be a good bet. 5000 to win 2000. Gotta win 2.5 times for each non-win, he probably does. Thinking of betting Maia over Fitch too. Not sure. Really want to bet on the Reem vs Silva but lines are so damn bad. I don't like the "shit happens" factor.

Made a playlist on spotify, it's pretty good: http://open.spotify.com/user/dammk%c3%a4rlek/playlist/7xSoxVMixWvo48kEK29uSO
