I start school today! so pumped for some reason, prob bc now im officially a chemistry nerd lol

also, my fraternity brother, who happens to also be a good friend of mine from childhood, is doing v well at poker. He grinded out those 70fpp sngs for like 154$ profit, and turned his 77$ into about 500$ now. He is playing 10nl, and really progressing well. Hopefully hell keep up the great work and start contributing here some. He has a ton of great qualities that good poker players contain as far as being nitty bankroll wise, able and willing to grind for long periods of time, etc. He also has me to help him along quicker, although I am not sure how much of a benefit that is lol.

is such an awesome saying lol. anyways, heres a bit of an update

I am in a really good mood. I just finally finished paying off all my tuition at Xavier University, so that frees up my transcripts and allows me to get my financial aid at my current Uni. This is a huge relief to finally be done with them.

I also had a revelation the past few days. It all started out by me starting to talk to my ex gf again. I then got really sick, ended up in the hospital twice with bacterial pneumonia. I decided to head down to cincinnati to see my ex considering I couldnt go to school(missed the first 2 weeks of this semester ). Anyways, I finally had good sex, and that cleared my head tremendously and relieved a lot of stress. No strings attached sex = good. Well, this stress relief and head clearage helped me think. I decided fuck majoring in business, fuck education, im gonna be a nerd. A chemist that is.

I have always done extremely well in math and sciences, and always favored chemistry(took AP chem in h.s, and honors general chem in college, did very well in both). I never thought about it as a major as I had know idea what job opportunities were out there. It turns out, there are TONS of really really cool jobs out there for chemists. Needless to say, I am very very excited about this. I feel I will really do well as a chem major regardless of the hard work. I love chemistry! Now I just need to try to get into my courses 2 weeks into the semester

I also thought I was going IRL busto, but on my way back from cinci I decided to take a gander in my glove box for some tissues and found a wad of 1220$. Its mine obv, but I forgot about it. How, I have no idea :. This put me in a really good mood as well!

As far as poker goes, not much has changed. I am being staked for the FTOPs tournament series in Feb which will be cool. Ive been grinding 100NL with pretty good success lately(good mood + clear head helps). I am hoping to take a trip to AC soon with my grandmother. The 12 300 max games are unbelievably good, and it would be nice to make some extra cash and relax vip style for a weekend. Hopefully ill be able to make it there soon. Ill let you guys know if you wanna meet up by chance.

I do want to apologize for me last few blog posts. I came across sort of condescending, and didnt really mean to. I was extremely f'd up on many different, bad drugs. I wasnt thinking straight, and it really changed me for the worse. Since then I am done with all that hard shit. Once I get better from the pneumonia, I will only be smoking pot, taking adderol(which is soon going to be prescribed to my by a doctor once I get tested. Ill still do some of the fun drugs every once in awhile, but I am staying far away from the dangerous ones. I also quit smoking cigarettes since the whole pneumonia thing started. The cravings suck, but it hasnt been that difficult at all to stop, and honestly, I feel much better now. Anyways, enough rambling. Sorry again if I came across as a dick, or made some snide remarks towards you(timdawg, etc).

So ive been really sick for the past 2 weeks and havent been doing anything poker related. Now that I am feeling better I am gonna start getting back in the swing of things. I never did follow up with those interested in staking me for mtts, so please ship me a PM and well organize everything.

I am currently seeking out a stake(s) for mtts. I will only play 55$+ freezeouts and any rebuys (i.e satellites for larger mtts). I have a few people interested, but am still looking at all options. My site usernames are readmyline for full tilt, and sooon2b for pokerstars. You may wonder why I am looking for a stake. The reason is that I really believe my tournament game is incredibly strong, but due to my real life expenses, I can not afford to play MSNL and mid-high stakes mtts. The bankroll fluctuations also become way too stressful. I have done very well for my past backers (netting them nearly 90k). If you are interested, shoot me a PM and ill get back to you. I have not made specific arrangements with any of the backers interested yet because they are both in different countries, so if you are interested and want to claim dibs on certain tournament schedule, get back to me asap.

As far as other things, not much has happened. Someone logged into my secret FTP account at the house here and busted it. Wasnt too much, about 1k, but needless to say, I am furious. Thank god they didnt get into my other accounts with much more money. I still dont know who did it, but I am extremely pissed. My new macbook screen is now broken and unusable due to my clumsiness while trying to move into the fraternity house, so I am a bit pissed about that as well. I have just started the new semester, and decided to change my major again, to business management this time. I feel that is much more sensible for me personally if I intend on looking into some business ventures. I still dont really plan on working for anyone however.

Heres the deal. Gonna play 100NL, and move up once I make 50 buyins at the current level. That allows me a lot of room bankroll wise which will help alleviate some of the stress. I will be focusing 75% on HU poker, 25% mtts. Every time I reach an increment of $10k I will be cashing out 10% of my roll at each level(1k at 10k, 2k at 20k, etc etc). I will only be playing HU poker on my money(as well as any other cash games I play, which I wont pass up if they are good, but I will not be focusing on my 6m or 9m game really as I feel my HU game is my strongest game). This leaves me with mtts.

Ok, back to HU now. So like I said, i believe my strongest game is headsup. I really think it would be wise to focus on my headsup game as it will certainly help my skills in all other forms of NLHE. I also believe the games are much much juicier as there arent too many HU specialists ive encountered that have made me believe I didnt have an edge. This doesnt mean I dont quit people thought. If I lose more than 2 buyins to a player that I feel I dont have a huge edge on, I will certainly quit them. Ill also quit if I become tilted. You may wonder why I am starting at 100NL. Well, I have cashed out most of my roll due to tuition, fraternity dues, etc etc. I had an unsuccessful shot at 25/50 HU. And lastly, I have never really had great bankroll management, and have played scared money in bigger games. I am starting this low to discipline myself, and to work my way up as my game improves. I have a separate screen name for HU poker that I will not be revealing. If you do figure out who I am, please keep your thoughts on my game to yourself and ill do the same. If anyone is interested in discussing hands and what not, hit me up.

As far as my life outside of poker, its been pretty meh. I have pretty much given up on dating girls and have decided to be a playa plaaaayaaa. I think im gonna change my major to business management. The fraternity life is pretty sick so far. Ive moved into the house now which is nice(and also the reason I am not gonna date right now ). Other than that, my life is pretty boring, holidays sucked, etc etc.

Ok, heres the goals/resolutions for the year.

Make at least 250k (mtts+cash+rb/bonuses)
Play 500k Hands of cash this year
Invest the way I planned earlier in this entry
Buy a new vehicle(probably toyota highlander hybrid limited, but still havent decided)
Work out at least 3 days a week
Eat healthier
Go to the world series this year as well as a few other live events
Do well in school this semester

So ive been on this 3 or 4 day binge now and havent slept and have been thinking about tons of shit. I decided the "get rich or die tryin'" saying is legit and ima take it to heart.

So, this month im gonna try some new shit and try and be more structured. Gonna smash nl cash this month starting at 1/2 and moving up aggressively. Gonna be playing a very "different" style. Results to come

I am gonna keep working on my mtt game. I feel I have run pretty terrible lately in mtts and have a big score coming soon, but i know i still have some leaks and im gonna try and work those out so if u r good at mtts and wanna help me holla at me k thx.

I am also staking 2 friends of mine in poker which I think could be beneficial to them and myself.

I am moving into my new place(the fraternity house) sometime this month so ill be pumped to have my monitor and such btw I am buying 2 24" monitors to go along with my 21"s. Should be tight. All running off my desktop obv or maybe just the 24"s off my desktop and then the 21"s can be for my laptops or smthn idk and idc. Anyways itll be more relaxed at the house(i.e i can smoke pot easier than i can living in the dorms although i cant smoke inside the fraternity house )

I am also thinking of going to Aussie millions with some legit ppl mark vos sappy123/sapster traheho maybe? idk anyways i wanna win a seat for it so those guys can teach me to be sick.

i also decided my first real estate purchase is gonna be a house on a lake around my school for me to live in with friends til we graduate well have a pontoon boat and shit itll be sick. Its nice out here too because its sort of rural but the cities are all relatively close and its a nice drive there.

My first 2 vehicles I want to purchase are the 08 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 crew cab long bed with the V6 and TRD offroad packages, throw a 3" body lift on it, some nice new wheels. I need a 4x4 truck for the bad snow we get all the time and I hunt/4wheel/like offroading so it makes sense to get this truck as its got good gas mileage and rides nice. The next vehicle is sick sick sick its the Audi S5 they have in 2k8. Its only around 50k which is awesome. Its AWD so that will be somewhat reasonable in the bad weather we get here. idk im pumped.
