Ok i've been grinding on stars for a little bit on the cheap level finally built up a decent roll i have 122.00 on my poker stars acct that i built up from 8 dollars on stars beating all the fish on the really low levels...its time to move up i cant take playing low limits but i want to have a good br management on here i have about 36bi for a higher level and feel that its time to move up...the only thing here is that it will all be turbo tourney SnG not really used to playing any turbo's if anyone would like to chime in on any tips or hints on playing turbo SnG's and how to more often than not end up in the money i play 8 tables at a time so im a pretty tight aggro player waiting in the first 3 or 4 bl increases before loosing up on play other than that i play AA KK AK QQ only top hands and take adv of weak players in the early rounds other than that any tips please anyone feel free to reply it would be great

Ok so today started kinda bad. 8 Sng tables had a 1st,2nd, and a third and on the other tables that i lost on was QQ vs J10 and AK vs AJ 4 card flush out AA vs Ako and still yet again 4 card flush out. Made one bad play on another table J high flush vs K high flush with the A on the board. down half a BI.
Second session better session but still losing on table like AK vs Q10 calls all in on the flop with Q high no draw and catches the queen on the turn. Had a bubble burst with AA vs 77. I 4 bet pre flop he pushes all in. of course with AA it was a insta call and he flushes out on the river. Had yet another big play busted 77 vs K9, 4 bet pre flop and the flop on 568r he min raises i know he has nothing push my stack in he calls with a draw 2 7s to catch remind u, 4 hits the turn im now 95% to win and yeah guess what he catches the 1 of 2 7s to win but i ended this session with 3 1st's up 3.5 BI oh yeah and hitting quads twice with in about 5 mins of each other

was about to call it a night but figured i'd jump on some cash tables for a little with in about 10 15 mins i was up about 7 BI's and all the tables had no one left on them cleaned most of them out including beating KK with QQ and it was like i knew it was coming KK min raises pre flop i being a donk sometimes after steaming a little from a hand on another table pushes all in feeling my QQ low rainbow hit and i was knew in my mind a Q was coming called "Queen" in my head and it hit and i knew i had it locked up
nice to have people call u when u flop the nuts

Tournaments
This is the ability to change your strategy, hand strengths, calling and pushing ranges as blinds and antes rise. It is most useful during tournament play, but is useful in dealing with short stacks in deeper stacked cash game play. It is important to learn tournament skills even for cash game specialists. Strong tournament skills should translate to more tournament cashes and deeper finishes.
Your Tournament Play score of 143 is exceptionally higher than your average score. This score is better than 99.79% of all persons taking this test.
Computational Speed
Solving problems quickly indicates a combination of experience and card sense. Experienced players can often play most hands automatically, and only require significant thought for the most complex situations. Experienced players should easily answer a good amount of the questions on this test, leaving extra time to focus on the more complex situations.
Your Computational Speed score of 125 is exceptionally higher than your average score. This score is better than 95.22% of all persons taking this test.
Hand Selection
It is important choose which hands to play by adjusting for position, stack sizes, and the tendencies of your opponents. Beginners often have no awareness of relative hand strength, often play weak hands out of position, or easily dominated hands against tight opponents.
Your Hand selection score of 118 is exceptionally higher than your average score. This score is better than 88.49% of all persons taking this test.
Everything else is pretty much on avg with everyone else
hard work pays off

Ok so i've been grinding at the low level tables from an 8 dollar start from money left on stars from years ago. Tonight I finally broke the 100 mark. Got my roll on all the way up to 109.45. still a long time to grind out to be able to sit nicely at a higher level. With stars playing the sng levels is very tricky cause the 1.20bi the next level is the 3.40 level any one know what the right time to move up to the higher levels or even wait just to sit nicely at the 5.50 tables for the sng. Im a solid tourney player and a pretty decent cash player but its easier for me to grind the tourney table. Anyone have any idea how much of a roll would be perfect to 10 table 5.50 tables. All comments are welcome thanks to all who reply
thanks,
B
