With the league I play in the game Sunday got cancelled and we have Mondays off so I decided to play in the $65 event. A total of 89 players signed up, long story short I ended up at the final table with roughly 30% of the chips with 8 left. The sad part is I was the chip leader at 4M which is probably the most retarded structure I have ever played. The table kept talking chop and I managed to chop for 2nd place money. The way it was structured the rest of the FT was going to be a flipament anyway and 7th was paying $200. Ended up getting $845 for it so I was pretty pleased.
The upswing has come

Woohoo, got my wallet replaced and no monies were found to be missing which is awesome. Well minus the $2 cash but whatever not counting that. Been playing a little on stars at Panera when I get the time and I'm pretty much running utterly shitty yet still pulling a 15% ROI in the $5 and $10 sng's. The sample size is just horrendously small but my BR is growing slowly.
Online BR:$621.43
Holy bad beat

Ok so I finally made it up to Utica NY which is roughly 20 mins from Turningstone. I'm up here playing pro baseball in an independant league. Everything is taken care of and I get $500 a month to do something I love, not a bad deal.
Well the housing situation is beyond fucked, instead of host families we have these ghetto ass places, currently we have no shower and roughly 16 guys staying in a 6 bedroom place. We also have no mattress, they are supposed to be here by Tuesday. Food is not paid for like they claimed until games start. Oh and my wallet got stolen so I'm pretty much screwed for awhile.
I have been reduced to going to Panera Bread for free internet because we have none at the so called house. God pro ball is a dream come true LOL.
Back to the sng grind

Since micro stakes pretty much make me want to slit my wrists I've decided to grind SNG's till my roll is large enough to play 100nl. I'll probably be grinding quite awhile if I don't get a major MTT score along the way.
Had time to play a few here is the results for the day.
$5.50 25 played 1st - 5 2nd - 2 3rd - 3 Total profit - $29.00
I also played the $3 rebuy and finished 93rd for ~$44 when I invested $9.30. I'm not sure about the hand I was eliminated on, give me your thoughts. Blinds are 6k/12k 200 ante so ~20k dead in the pot. I have 109k and pick up A/9d in the CO folded to me I open push and run into Q's in the SB. I brick out and get eliminated, seems like a pretty standard push but I wanna be sure.
