going to let this soak in, taking tomorrow off so i can have a 10k month on the record books , and gonna work with thestoryteller on his game. (unrelated to last blog post :X)

final stats 185.22 hours played 102681 hands mostly 8-tabling NL100 FR, about 80% nl100fr 20% nl200fr near the end

i want to find someone around nl50, maybe nl25 who is putting in a reasonable amount of time into poker and who has inklings of taking it more seriously

i'm no crazy baller but i really truly feel in the last couple months ive actually improved my game to the point where i can really say im becoming the beginnings of a "thinking" player and no longer the grinder rocko of old

so this 70 vpip fish who bet and raised everything showed up on my table

the table was full of like 9/7 nits otherwise so they pretty much obliged me to basically play the fish hu while they waited to spike nuts

fish went up to 700 bbs of about 90% my money, then a reg spiked a nut broadway straight and stacked his 68 offsuit for 200bbs, and he left.

its the worst beating anyones ever put on me. *sigh*

i *might* be through my slump that was.. really frustrating between dec15 to about.. march 20

ive been playing like hyper-iso style where i just focus on getting money involved pre when the likely action will result in me playing against people i have sufficient a) card advantage b) skill advantage c) positional advantage, if they are donkish enough i'm playing super loose, and if they are good i'm pretty much not making too many moves at all.

inspired by the balugawhale coaching tree series on dc. and edzwoo.

got my degree today officially after abillion years of pending

basically i was going for a 4-year math degree and took 4th year 3 times in my 4th, 5th and 6th consecutive years finally said screw it with like 3 half-credits remaining to complete and just took a 3-year degree after much stress

but yeah i guess i'm supposed to be all like.. WOOT cause its a milestone. but i guess its just good to be done, and if i ever want to go back for further education i have a piece of paper saying i am not a total newb?

Bachelor of Science - Mathematics from the University of Western Ontario in Canada. :D
