Beware of Dogs
  NotSorry, Mar 28 2013

So this morning some stupid fuck decided it was a good idea to rob some people at gun point. The cops were combing the area around my house for the last 2-3hours. Figured he was long gone, but I hear my dogs going fucking insane and I poke my head out the window to tell them to chill out and I see a man fitting the description climbing over my fence, my wife and kids are in the house so I picked up a stick I used to prop the sliding glass door and charge him, before he even touches the ground into my yard my dogs Asha and Kiera are all over his ass just fucking him up, he manages to throw himself over to the other side of the fence before I got to him, so I ran out to the street and flagged down the cops passing by and he was caught a few moments later. I'm so proud of my puppies for protecting my family.

SoCal Beware
  NotSorry, Dec 03 2012

I know it's not the best time to take a vacation just getting back into training and all but things just kind of fell into place and I'm not one to pass up a free trip to SoCal to visit family and hit up the theme parks.

Epiphany
  NotSorry, Nov 28 2012

Since coming back to mma something had felt off, like I had forgotten how to ride a bike, and couldn't tap into my prior experience and training, just grinding through the motions waiting for that instinct to wake the fuck up. Well I finally got my epiphany, mid-round monday morning everything just clicked and instantly I felt like a completely different person. Not to say I crushed everyone else from that point on cause I still get worked hard, we got some insanely tough and skilled guys on the team, but fighting returned to being a natural state for me. I stopped over-thinking things and just let my instincts take over and just enjoying the moment, suddenly everything just slowed the fuck down big time, I could see and feel where and how people were moving and planning on moving rather than just praying my reaction timing were good enough. I could relax and breath freely knowing when I was safe which allowed me to nearly double my session times and cut out those annoying vomit breaks. Feeling more motivated than ever before and can't wait to get a fight lined up so I can share my joy with whoever is unlucky enough to step into that cage with me.

STFU and Train
  NotSorry, Nov 24 2012

It's easy to lose perspective in mma in terms of your own growth when you're surrounded by fellow fighters it often feels like you're hitting a plateau because your team as a whole is constantly growing at a relatively similar pace, and you're so used to each others' styles that you adjust your own sometimes without even realizing it. It can be real depressing and mess with your motivation. I've felt like this many times in and the past and more so recently coming back from a 6month break and falling behind that learning curve was hard to take in.

Since coming back I've been having a real tough time and even getting the worse end of sessions with guys I used to be able to take down and submit at will. Feeling a bit conflicted, on one hand I'm proud of them for their improvements and I enjoy the challenge being there for me to overcome, but at the same time I can't get over this feeling of self disappointment that I shouldn't be having difficulties at this stage and should be breezing through people who aren't long term or up and coming pro fighters. I want to fight and test myself against the best in the world but right now it just seems so far away. I know I'm over thinking things but it's kind of my thing. Oh wells, end pointless irrelevant post.

TLDR:

STFU AND TRAIN

Got to Stop Quitting
  NotSorry, Nov 21 2012

Managed to survive my first week back training, barely. Damn, I had no idea how out of shape I let myself get over the prior 6months. These breaks are fucking killing me. I currently wouldn't last 1rd with myself from 6 months ago, not even just a cardio thing but tiny mistakes(some large ones too) and brain farts walking myself into bad position that I would never do before. Good news is in the last week I've lost 8lbs and can now go a 4-5hour day without vomiting so that's always a plus. Sore as hell and black and blue from head to toe. Thankgiving getting in my way tho and the gym is closed for the next 3 days since everyone is traveling for the holiday so time to put those 8lbs back on and carb load for the next month or two.

California Love
  NotSorry, Nov 14 2012

So after many drinks I got to thinking why fucking wait, so I sold off my recently unbanned D3 account and hit the road. After a seemingly much longer 29hour drive I'm back in Cali and ready to get shit started. Dropped in to a morning jiujitsu class to surprise everyone with the early arrival and got some good rounds in, made the mistake again of not grabbing my mouth guard and broke a good chunk out of one of my teeth. Now to get to the chore of unpacking before going back to training tonight. Feels damn good to be back.

Clean account never traded with or played with anyone else, played like 5-6hours all legit, made my first 100k gold then only used the ah/rmah buying/selling about 30mins a day in the morning before work. Sorry the game was fucking shit and the only slight enjoyment I could get out of it was playing the market. Oh well's I still have 5accounts I haven't touched in months, but still pisses me off since I had nearly 1bil gold and several mule chars full of decent priced items waiting to be sold.

Fight Canceled
  NotSorry, Nov 06 2012

Was hoping to write this post about having a fight lined up for Nov 23rd in Iowa but things just didn't work out that way. With that out of the way now there really is no reason for me to wait til the 7th to head back to Cali, so putting in my 2weeks at work today and heading out around the 21-22nd of Nov to get a jump start on my training camp. Also been looking into some video equipment to do a video blog + interviews with coaches/teammates during camps, pre and post fights.

PS: If you're into kickboxing as well Glory 3: Rome Final 8 on nov 2nd was a solid show and well worth the download.

The Ultimate Fighter
  NotSorry, Oct 27 2012

So word around the back rooms is UFC is telling the larger camps to prep their teams for an all HW season of TUF after Jones/Sonnen wraps up. Dec 7th I will be moving back to California to resume training with Team Quest and get my ass ready to make a run at TUF. My goal is to get in 3-4 fights before the audition starts around Summer 2013. Anyways the point of the post is I could really use some sponsors to supplement my income so I can train full-time rather than having to pick up a part-time job on top of coaching and private lessons. I will be printing up t-shirts with sponsorship logos or whatever they want me to put on them, selling spots on my fight banners, t-shirts (both walk out and training) and shorts. Also thinking of doing a video doc on it with interviews from the rest of the team and trainers.
