omg another decent day
SneakrFreakr, Apr 10 2007
So I had a pretty decent day and made over $500. I got up pretty late, watched an episode of Rome, ate breakfast etc etc and played some poker. I got outdraw a couple of times and had one awful split pot but I still managed to win 3,5 buyins. Also my flop AF is going down so it's good news. Thanks to it I feel like I've got more control over my game, although I find myself in some tricky spots when I check behind or just call with some hands on the flop. In the evening I was supposed to have a private lesson with Andrew from CR (I won it long time ago). Everything seemed to be set up and ready, he could see my desktop, but Skype wasn't working properly and we were getting disconnected all the time. We tried ventrillo but again - sth was wrong and I couldn't hear his voice. We decided to postpone the lesson and hopefully we'll manage to do it tommorow. I think I can benefit a lot from this lesson as he'll be able to find some major leaks that I probably still have. I decided to play some headsup on UB as I didn't feel like starting a 6max session on Party. I opened 2 NL50 HU tables on UB and after an hour or so I was up $180. Had some interesting hands, made loads of good reads, maybe just one bad call for 40bb but overal I was very happy w/ my play.
Tommorow I've got to finally start preparing for my IELTS exam (yeah I know I said I'd start doing it today but there's always a good excuse to not do it lol) but I'm still going to play loads of poker every day. Also next week my friends are coming back to Manchester from their holidays so I'll probably go out a few times, spend too much money, get drunk as hell and won't remember anything from these nights. Standard.
And here are my stats from today and some hand histories:

1. Would like to hear some comments on this hand.
2. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/172218
I dunno. Kinda tough spot. I felt like it's better to fold cause I have to put over $30 to get my $9.5 back. What you think guys?
3. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/172221
Meh, I always pick up wrong spots for this move. Should've given up when he minraised and I'd save like $70. Villain was pretty aggro so I that that he's making this play with a wide range, most of which he'd fold to a 3bet. As played should I just check/fold on turn?
4. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/172223
Villain was 35/4/3.5 after 2k hands or so. I don't know him well though, I only had a stat on him that he minraised and min4bet trips on turn in unraised pot. Was kind of worried about K6 and 66 but I thought that his range is wider here (he was quite agressive postflop) and he could easily call w/ AK preflop without 3betting cause his PFR is so small (AA was also a possibility). What you think guys? Should I have been more careful since I had this note on him? Ship it anyway.
5. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/172225
Likey? Or should I play it differently? Villain was 42/14/1.5 after 150 hands.
6. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/172226
I love minraising.
7. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/172227
In this hand villain was a 3betting addict and his stats were 30/26/10 after 100 hands. I had a good image so I thought there's a good chance that my play will work. Likey?
8. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/172228
That was a pretty weird spot for me. Villain was 32/7.6/1.25. Out of nowhere he openraised to 7bb (he didn't raise like this before) and I had no idea what to think about it. I didn't want to 3bet cause this way I'd put like $22 preflop and then like $30 postflop as a c-bet so I just smooth called on the button. Meh I really don't like this hand. Should I've just checked behind on turn? On the river I don't think I can beat anything except for other AK. All comments appreciated.
9. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/172232
Ugly split. Villain was a 47/13/3.5 retard.
10. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/172234
This was like 3rd or 4th time when I 3bet villain but he 4bet me for the first time so I was a bit worried. His stats were 46/14/1 after like 50 hands. I was even more worried when he checked this flop. I thought about betting but he'd prolly call w/ KK and QQ anyway. Turn seemed to be a miracle card but it only made me lose my whole stack. I was like 90% sure that he's got aces but still I couldn't fold it. And I think I wouldn't fold them now as well. Thoughts?
11. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/172239
Not sure if my play was ok. What you think? Villain was 38/6/2.17 after 80 hands and he instacalled the flop.
12. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/172241
Standard.
13. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/172242
Thanks.
----
Ok, time to watch last episode of Rome season 1 and download season 2. Any other tv series you can recommend? I've already watched Prison Break, Heroes, Dexter, Rome and Coupling (UK).
sth is changing?
SneakrFreakr, Apr 09 2007
So today I decided to follow Myth's advice from the comments under my last post (thanks again for this). I was checking or calling more often or the flop, wasn't cbetting all the time. I also changed my preflop strategy. At the beginning of each session I'm playing pretty tight, not raising A7o in CO etc. I felt that I was playing tighter than usually but somehow my stats for today session are higher that usually (I wasn't running good though). I got some beats, won some hands and overally ended up over 2 buyins. I played pretty decent, although I made some mistakes as well (again - medium pots) - nothing serious though, I think.

And some hand histories:
1. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/171651
First hand at the table. As usually in similar spots - I had no idea how to play it properly but I think my line was ok. Bet the river? How much?
2. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/171654
No stats, no reads. Good fold or nitty?
3. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/171656
Should've bet more on turn but I was thinkin that smallish raise might induce a raise. Bettin more would make river shove a pot sized bet.
4. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/171662
Sexy times.
5. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/171663
Just shove preflop or callling his 4bet is fine?
6. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/171667
Checked the turn cause villain was solid and I knew he's folding almost everything that I beat. The way I played it I think I had to call river. Anyone folds it? I was most afraid that he might have AQ
7. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/171670
Whenever I try to raise flop leads those bastards have a monster.
8. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/171671
I really wanted to fold this river. And probably should've. What can I beat? Q9? maybe sth like JJ? Call on the flop is ok?
9. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/171672
What do you think about my line? What do you put him on?
10. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/171673
What do you think about just calling flop? No stats on villain. Should I've reraised? How much? What do you think about shoving this flop when he raises?
11. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/171674
Villain was over agro 70/40 donk. Raise more on flop?
That's it - I'll also post 2 or 3 hands in the hand discussion forum cause I don't want to post the results and want to get some more opinions.
That's it for now. I'm gonna talk some poker now, eat and watch "Rome" probably. It's a good tv series - not as entertaining as "Prison Break" and I'm not a history freak or sth but it's pretty interesting. Tommorow I gotta start preparing for my IELTS exam. I want to spend 1-2 hours every day learning and I think it's doable (even though I'm a lazy biatch). Holla
wtf is wrong?
SneakrFreakr, Apr 08 2007
After a decent session I had yesterday, today I lost 4,5 buyins. I don't know what's going on. I got a few tough beats but I'm losing tons of cash in small and medium pots. Here are my stats from today (they don't include $100 I won on UB in a nl50 HU cash game that lasted 15 mins - obviously I lost a 160bb pot to a runner runner flush there as well):

As you can see I'm a fkin nit. Somehow everyone seems to be calling, raising and floating me all the time. My AF on flop is pretty high, when I compare it to other winning players so that's probably the problem. But wtf - I don't cbet every flop and those winning players have AF on flop about 2.5-3.5 and they say they cbet like 80% of the time. So why mine AF is so damn high? I also think I'm getting myself into too many marginal spots by raising 50/10 type of retard-limpers with too weak or speculative holdings. Any suggestions? How can I change my postflop play? When should I cbet and when should I give up? I know that it depends on villain, flop texture etc and I think I'm adapting to all those conditions but those bastards keep playing back at me all the time when I've got nothing. When I actually have a hand they either fold or outdraw me in some ridiculous way. I guess I might be just running bad but wtf - not for such a long time. My winning session are like "wtf - a miracle". I know I've got a lot of leaks but why can't I beat those morons on nl100? Can I be that bad? I'm not worried about the money but I'm just becoming more and more hopeless. I try to study my game regularly, read the forums, I watch videos on CR and I've got a good understanding of the concepts explained and introduced there but I just can't keep winning regularly. Like wtf look at this graph (my April so far):

Is it normal? I don't think so. I must be doing wrong something very important. Some key concept I'm missing. Desperately looking for help. Anyone?
omg a winning session
SneakrFreakr, Apr 07 2007
So I finally had a decent session and I'm slowly getting my confidence back. I got really unlucky a couple of times (not just 2 outers and stuff but horrible flops in reraised pots etc) but I kept playing good and I finally started hitting and getting paid off. Had loads of marginal spots, made probably quite a few bad decisions but overall I’m quite happy with my game. I was really focused most of the time, didn’t make any stupid, retarted fancy plays etc. I also won a nice 400bb pot and also my KK > villain’s AA . I might not be able to play tomorrow as my dad is visiting me cause it’s easter or sth. I’ll probably hand out with him for the whole day. I haven’t seen him for a long time. Anyway, here are my stats for today:

And quite a few hand histories:
1. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/170604
Villain was a 59/14/2.07 retard after 350 hands and he was betting 50% times on the river. It was probably a bad call anyway. All I’m hoping for is a split.
2. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/170606
Quite a retarted spot, villain is the same as in the above hand. Turn check is ok? Should I check behind this river? Prolly should’ve just folded to his raise. WTF can I beat?
3. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/170608
No read on villain but I still think calling river is reasonable. Thoughts?
4. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/170609
I had no idea what to do in this spot. Villain was like 33/2.6/0.29 after 40 hands. Now I figured that raising here was the best option. Obviously QQ has got some showdown value here but raising makes it much easier to play this hand. I made a stupid calldown instead.
5. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/170610
Seriously, someone please teach me how to play unraised pots??
6. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/170611
Nice 400bb pot. Wasn’t sure how to get the most out of it. Figured that a big raise will look cool and he’ll think “zomg he’s not raising like this with a set, my AK/AA is good” and so he did. Ship it!
7. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/170613
I think it’s first time ever my KK > opponent’s AA. Best part is his chat line before making the call. I think I should’ve just shoved the flop as it’d look less fishy. Ship it anyway.
8. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/170614
Villain was a 59/13/2.2 donk with 50% bet river factor. Finally I used this stat in the right way. Max value, holla.
9. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/170616
You might say that checking this flop is ridiculous but it is so dryish that I’m getting called if I bet here maybe 20% of the time. I wanted them to catch sth on turn and someone with trips would pay me off anyway. Likey?
10. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/170619
This is the hand against a guy that I stacked in a 400bb pot. I think he started tilting a lil bit. Any way to get more value here? He was like 20/14/3.65 and 3betting quite frequently.
11. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/170623
At that moment I had no stats on villain. Should’ve just checked behind on turn with my FD + gutshot as it has a lot of value but I can’t stand a check/raise here.
12. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/170624
I’ve got a lot of trouble playing “TP good/middle kicker” type of hands when I raise PF and villain bets out into me. I tend to get into passive calldown mode. But on the other hand raising turns my hand into a bluff, right? I mean maybe not a bluff but weaker hands (except for OESD or FD) are folding when I put in a raise. But maybe it’s a better option anyway? Ugh I hate my line here.
13. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/170625
I luuuuv these donks.
14. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/170626
I think I got the max value here (might should’ve bet more on turn). I made a smallish (less than ½ pot) bet on the river to make it look like a bluff, scared bet and get raised by a missed draw or to get called by A high, TT/JJ type of hand or a flush that hoped I’ve got overpair or missed draw. Suprisingly he called me with just K high.
15. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/170629
Villain was a 70/40 lagtard that was overplaying his hands all the time. I think I played it the best I could (he’d probably fold to a turn bet) and I made him put in his whole stack. Too bad he hit his 5 outer. Shit it… noooooooot (Borat style j/k).
16. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/170639
I played it sooo passively but I wanted to let him just hand over his chips to me. I could’ve bet flop and I’d probably get his stack anyway but I’d lose value if he had nothing. Raising his overbet on turn would look really fishy so I just called with an intention to shove any river card. Payback biaaatch.
17. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/170640
No stats on him as pahud was fked up for a few mins but I saw him overplaying mediocre holdings all the time so it was quite an easy shove on the turn.
18. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/170642
Max value I guess.
19. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/170643
I hate you Lee, I fkin hate you! Oh sorry, it was Party, not Starts. But anyway, if the flop was T high or lower, I’d stack that 84/6/1.3 donk for almost 200bb.
20. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/170645
Villain was new at the table so no stats. All I’ve got to say is: lol? By the way do you think river call was correct against an unknown in a long run?
21. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/170648
I was very happy about the way I played this hand. Based on his action and timing I put him on a very narrow range and sized my bet so that it’d be the max he would call. And so he did.
22. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/170652
The guy that 3bet preflop was quite laggish so there was a good chance that he was just squeezing (especially since I was raising a lot and the other guy that called was a 50/10 type of retartd). When preflop raiser checked I figured that I’ve got him beat 90% of the time. I was playing for stacks with 50/10 guy but if Nitro_Tyr pushed I’d consider folding.
23. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/170654
Likey? Villain was 60/13 type of guy that likes to bet river. I figured that he’s betting Jx anyway, he’s probably folding lower pairs and I could get a bet from him if he had a flush draw. Unfortunetaly he decided to just check behind. Was also thinking about smallish bet to induce a raise. What do you think guys?
24. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/170656
Teaser on a turn but river fked me eventually. Pretty standard.
25. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/170664
Likey or not?
lol I just realized that I posted 25 hands from a 1,5k session. Lots of them are quite basic but I’m looking for input on all of them as I think I’ve got a lot of problems in some basic situations.
short session
SneakrFreakr, Apr 07 2007
Yesterday I didn't feel well for the whole day (can't get rid of this fkin cold I got a few days ago) and just browsed some forums and watched CR videos (and an episode of Rome - good tv series btw). In the evening I felt kinda better and I felt like playing some poker. I was playing pretty well, making just 2 or 3 minor mistakes in small/medium pots. I was really focused on the game and I found that talking about everything while playing, just like CR pros do on their videos, helps me concentrate a lot so I'm going to try doing it every time I play (the only thing is that my flatmates think I'm retarted cause I'm Polish I'm talking to myself in English while playing poker). There was a lot of action on the tables so I couldn't pay attention to everything that was going on at the tables but I think I did my best. I had a nice table with 2 maniacs (stats like 70/40 each). One of them had a 200bb stack but someone else busted him The other guy was buying in for like 60bb and I staked him once or twice. I had to finish my session early as I had to pick up my friend from the bus stop. Here are my stats and some hand histories (comments appreciated as always):

1. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/170395
Both villains were retarted 70/40 donks do it was obviously a value shove.
2. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/170396
Another one against this guy.
3. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/170397
Ok so villain in this hand was about 23/18 and I saw him 3betting a couple of times. We were over 200bb deep and his reraise wasn't big so I decided to call as I had some good implied odds and I knew that often, I'll be able to take this pot away from him on flop or turn. I flopped an OESD. I decided to call his bet since he very well could've had KK or QQ and if I hit I'd stack him and if he had sth else there was a good chance that he'll give up on turn and I'll be able to take the pot away from him. I made kind of a smallish bet on turn but I figured it might look stronger and was cheaper at the same time. Thoughts?
4. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/170400
Villain was a 70/40 donk that was miniraising loads of flops but I had no idea how to play it in unraised pot 200bb deep. Anyone?
5. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/170403
I like my turn check here - I've got a flush draw and if he's got a higher str8, then I don't want to get pushed out of the hand. Can I fold the river?
6. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/170406
Villain seemed kind of decent - stats were like 23/16. Likey? Or am I a pussy?
7. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/170410
I felt a bit like a pussy folding it but the pot was 3way and villain seemed tight and decent. Should I at least call the flop?
That's it for now, I'm going to watch a new CR video and then play some poker.
i'm a retard
SneakrFreakr, Apr 05 2007
Yeah that's true. I played a decent session on party 6max today and won $350. I didn't play very well but sucked out once or twice. In the evening I felt like playing some HU on FTP. First hour went ok, and I broke even after running quite bad. Then I played against a guy that was calling me with everything, i.e. 1 overcard on flop and turn, hitting the river or with gutshot on flop and turn to hit his str8 on the river etc. He put me on tilt and I blew like 2 buyins. Ended up losing $370 during this headsup session. I'm not angry about the bad beats. I'm angry on myself. First of all I tilted which should never ever happen and what's more I shouldn't have played in the first place as it was already late and I was kinda tired and I'm still sick so that wasn't a good combination.
I've got no discipline. Just 2 days ago I wrote that from now on I'm going to stay 100% focused, always play my A game, never tilt, not mess around and I failed again. I love poker and I want to be a good player but my discipline blows. Also my roll dropped from 6k to 4,3k due to some cashouts and spewing money around. I need to tighten up my ass and finally stop acting like a retard. This is probably the last chance I'm giving to myself. Otherwise I'd better cashout my roll and drink till I run out of money lol.
From now on I'm getting 100% serious about the game and I'm not going to play anything except for 6max nl100. When I get to 6k and I'll feel that I'm finally playing good I might take a 5buyin shot on nl200. I'm going to start every day with either watching a video on CR or browsing forums, posting hand histories, analyzing my game in PT, talking poker with others on msn and this kind of stuff. I'm going to 4table only, 100% focused, MSN switched off, no internet explorer, simply nothing - just poker. I want to play 1,5k-2k hands everyday, analyzing my play on a daily basis and hopefully it will work. I know I said almost exactly the same a few days ago but as I said this is the last shot I'm giving to myself. I know I can do it, I just need to get everything together and put 100% effort to succeed. That's it for now and wish me luck guys. Hopefully in 2 months I'll be laughing at myself that I struggled for such a long time at nl100 and that I was such a donkish retard, holla!
not a perfect come back
SneakrFreakr, Apr 04 2007
I played a bit yesterday and 2 sessions today and I dropped over 4 buyins. I ran quite bad (people not paying off at all, flush vs flush, str8 vs str8, some 2 outers etc) but I also played bad. Not focused enough, too many tables, trying some fancy plays against wrong opponents (ugh when will I get rid of this habit?!) and this kind of stuff. I'm playing kind of nitty but somehow people don't give me any respect and I get raised, called, floated all the time. Don't know why - I need to look closer into my game. From now on I won't be playing more than 4 tables. I've got loads of leeks that I need to work on. I think I don't pay attention to my table image and I also raise with too weak holdings when facing 1 or 2 limpers. I'm not gonna play anymore today since I've got this pretty bad cold and I don't feel well so I'll just analyze my session from today again and then relaxed a bit and watch some tv series. I really need to stay disciplined while playing as it hurts my game and winrate (or loserate?) a lot. From tommorow I'm going to focus 110% and play my A-game all the time. Fully concentrated, no experimenting, paying attention to my image, not raising weak holdings against limpers etc etc bla bla bla. I know I told myself this stuff like 20 times this year but no I'm really serious. Otherwise I can as well quit poker. I really want to improve so I need to stop messing around and just focus and finally start pwning those fish on nl100. It's so pathetic that I'm not winning there.
I've been advised to find some more people who play the same or similar level and add them to my MSN or AIM and discuss poker, hand histories and analyze each others game, leaks etc. So if anyone is interested then here are my screennames:
MSN: pawelceb@hotmail.co.uk
AIM: pawceb
An finally my stats from the last 2 days:

sick sick sick
SneakrFreakr, Apr 04 2007
No, I didn't run awfully, I just got an awful cold. Headache, runny nose, chesty cough and that kind of shit. Because of that I didn't play much yesterday and I focused on watching some vids on CR etc. I also watched the last episode of Prison Break and I'm pissed off with how it ended. Anyone knows when will the 3rd season air?
In the evening I played a short session and dropped like $150 (one bad call for $50, rest was rather bad luck). I had to switch sites like every 5 minutes cause my Poker Tracker is fucked up. I'm gonna make an SQLdatabase today or sth like that. I don't get it at all but my friend advised to do so. Oh and I'm back on Party now and I finally feel like at home. This is definitely my favorite room and I'll hope my results will improve there. Now I'll get all the party software like betpot, handgrabber etc installed and get some hands in.
My goals for April are to play 30-40k hands (gotta prepare for my IELTS exam which I'm taking on 5th May), study the game a lot and I'd like to make like 3-3,5k with rakeback. We'll see how it goes
ok i'm back!
SneakrFreakr, Apr 02 2007
Ooops I haven't been posting for a while. But I haven't been playing much poker. I've been partying a lot and I spent last 9 days in Poland with my family and hanging out with my friends. I had my biggest drinking night on Friday. I can't remember anything after 11pm. Everything I know comes from what others told me and some vids that my friends recorded with their mobile phones and posted on youtube. I.e. I hooked up with my ex that I haven't seen for like 4 years, I woke up in my bed completely naked etc etc (oh and obviously I got kicked out of the club). Too much stuff to talk about (maybe I'll write a separate post in a few days about that night but I won't post the vids cause they're in Polish anyway so no one would understand what I was saying and this is almost the only funny thing in these vids).
Right now I'm on the Warsaw airport, waiting for my plane to Manchester. I'll be there in the evening and from tommorow on I'm getting back into poker. I really needed this break as I feel I was pretty burned out. Now I feel 100% fresh and ready to pwn bitches on partypoker so wish me best luck. I'm not sure how I ended March in terms of money but I believe I'm up about $1000 but I really played very little.
On 5th May I'm going to pass IELTS exam and if I'll get 6/9 I'll get to the uni for sure. In the end of May/beginning of June I'm going back to Poland for the whole summer and then going back to Manchester for the uni on 20th September or so. I really want to have a lot of fun this summer and play loads of poker, win lots of $$$ and be a balla. My goal is 5/10 before the end of this year and I believe I can do it.
Good luck and the tables and I'll post sth tommorow!
omg soooo hangover
SneakrFreakr, Mar 04 2007
So yesterday I went to the b-day party of my friend. We started drinking at her flat (mmm some Polish vodka) and then we went to the club. I got sooo pissed and spent sooo much that I don't even want to think about it. Well actually I don't remember the second half of the night and I have no idea how I got home. But I had a really good time. Now it's almost 5pm and I'm still in my bed lol. I've got to do some homework for tommorow but it shouldn't take more than an hour. I think I'll play a bit later.
I played a semi-short session yesterday and even though I wasn't running good at all (i.e. I think I had one set during the whole session) and I still made over 2 buyins. I think I played really good, haven't made a single big mistake and made some good calls and well-timed bluffs. Here are my stats for the session and some hand histories:

I played it very passively but I don't like betting out a flush draw in a 4-way pot on such a board. The board was pretty scary on the river (even though I had two pairs) so I checked and folded to a small overbet. Too nitty?

Villain was a solid regular - 22/16/4 after 1500 hands. I am 90% sure that I was behind in this hand and he either had KK, AA or a set. Again - too nitty or a good laydown?

I was a bit lost in this hand and didn't know how to play it correctly. Villain was 26/15/4 after 34 hands. Oh and the hand history sucks on prima and on flop he just minraised and I called $7. Should I 3bet in this spot? What if he pushes? Easy call? I probably should've raised on turn. I pushed river hoping that he'll put me on a busted flush draw with a worse hand. Unfortunetaly he folded. Now I think he had KQ or KJ or maybe a flush draw.

Holla.

Not an easy call. I knew that he's not playing a made flush this way. I was mainly afraid of a straight. I was thinking that he might've been pissed off by the 3rd club that came on turn and that he just wanted to close his eyes, push and see what happens. But I figured that weakr two pairs are also a part of his range and I also that that he might be holding sth like KcQx or and other random combination of KcXx. Fortunetaly I was right but I'm still not sure if it was a right call. Any thoughts?

Villain was 27/9/2.2 after 66 hands. I figured that there was no way he would check the flop with a hand better than mine unless it was a nut flush so it was the only hand I was afraid off.
