ive said this many times, to determine a a close winrate (not even precisely) you need at least 1 million hands
|
If your going to measure by a million hands, then its impossible to find out what your true rate is since after playing 1 million hands the game would have changed and you would have improved/unimproved at the game to the extend that your winrate would be much different to the one thats on your graph.
My last 100k hands is probably more accurate to determine my winrate than all 350k hands that ive played this year.

This is true in reality, but I think statistically 1m hands is more like it. You could probably work out what size a good sample would be for say 3ptbb/100 with a given stdv but I... don't fancy doing it. |

Researchers used brain scans to show that when straight men looked at pictures of women in bikinis, areas of the brain that normally light up in anticipation of using tools, like spanners and screwdrivers, were activated. | |

You would still have to define what is a good sample size, could be an hypotesis tested with a chi square test. Can i be confident enough that my winrate is between 2 and 3bb/100 would be one.
not totally sure and not gonna do it. |

100k hands is like nothing though mathematically speaking, expecially if you are running decent standard deviation above 80 or something |
