I think it's pretty bad to see how little he tried to perform for his money in the UFC and then talks about retirement and looks for a new contract. The only reason why looking so out of it would be any sort of acceptable for me is if he was fulfilling his last fights before retirement. On top of that it is always sad to see incredible athletes continue to perform long after their prime years.

Sooooooooooooooo

Ole Ole Boi vs Midget Ground & Pound Machine is in the making for November. I REALLY hope there won't be some stupidass shit happening between the two camps that would kill the fight and/or either fighter getting injured cause that fight will be fucking brutal. That would be bigger than JBJ vs DC in HW even.

seriously get rid of this translator right now, he just translated everything aldo said very differently. why even have aldo being interviewed if this retard is saying things that he did not say and not saying things he said.

Aldo fighting skill has deterioriorated so much I think its very likely he was on the juice when younger.

I think he has deluded himself into thinking he is a good boxer only because he has worked some punches head movement, pivots and some tricks with the left hook but in reality he is a bad boxer, a flat footed hair-triggered counterstriker who throws back with everything overextended that has success only because his reflexes are still fast, he is very powerful and accurate and those tricks do work.

diaz vs poerier announced. feel bad for dustin since he's on a tear, thought he'd at least fight tony for a title eliminator. also feel bad for tony since he is without an opponent for the msg card.

I mean McGregor demolished him and Khabib is most likely gonna abuse him as if he is a little boy getting beaten up by a 200kg gorilla so yeah, he could fight Diaz and be on the queue for a title shot while winner fo Khabib/Conor can fight Ferguson, then they switch it up... Plus we all wanna see Diaz vs McGregor 3 so its pretty much the best move the UFC has ... if Diaz wins he s is most likely certainly going to fight McGregor regardless of how his match turns out.

I mean kind of yes, currently I'd rank the division 1. Khabib and then McGregor = Ferguson so their fight will be quite interesting in terms of strategy and skills. McGregor vs Diaz, on the other hand, will be two people constantly going at each other and will be very fun to watch.

I'd prefer to watch Ferguson vs Khabib over any of those combinations tbh, since Ferguson has the type of skill that could potentially demolish Khabib

Tony is fantastic off his back; always active and also hurts people with elbows even, he's the best at scrambles and khabib will tire easily vs the guy if he keeps trying to take him down as Tony is relentless for five rounds and has a granite chin. 5 rounds I'd give it to Tony via TKO in the 4th or 5th.

Tony vs Conor is much closer I think in that Tony will never back down from a stand up challenge and prides himself on his stand up and will bang against coaches advice. Conor can very well lose vs Tony if he can't clip him early.

As much as the fight should be all Khabib when you think about the massive grappling and cardio edge, when I envision the fight, I just see Conor being way looser and more fluid out of the gate, landing heavy shots, calmly evading, Khabib getting emotional and lunging right into a KO shot a-la Jose Aldo. Conor rd 1 opened at +500 - seems to me like that happens a lot of the time here, I see no reason to bet McGregor straight up at way worse odds when this is easily his most likely route to victory (although I suppose it could happen in the 2nd as well).

If Conor doesn't get it done early, I think Khabib submits or pounds him out in the mid-late rounds.

I mean bet365 has a nice leverage bet with +100 for Khabib winning by KO/TKO/Sub/DQ and +250 for McGregor by the same.... I dont see this going to decision ever considering how much Conor hates the guy and Khabib just giving zero fucks, basically break even if Khabib gets it and a decent win if McGregor does

I don't see Khabib getting emotional at all at any point. He might just be a sociopath. Him slapping Artem doesn't prove much other than that he doesn't like being shittalked by people weaker than him. He was literally saying "why are you talking shit about me?" while slapping him in the hallway and didn't seem emotional whatsoever. The guy was talking to Dana White while beating on Michael Johnson. His only focus is to be the GOAT and doesn't seem to care about anything else.

Conor, on the other hand, has publicly embarrassed himself and has been out of the octagon for a long time, both of those things put the pressure on him. If he loses this fight his legacy is done for, he'll be just another clown that shit-talked, made lots of money but got slapped at the end... and during his supposed prime time considering he is 30yo. Not to mention that the whole scene MMA scene has been saying that if someone is to stop his reign it would be Khabib. There is a reason why bookies opened at those odds, Khabib has always been considered the better fighter of the two.

I think that's pretty solid. People will say the danger is Khabib mauling him for 5 rounds or Conor winning early and then getting mauled for a few rounds... but I don't think that happens often enough to make this bet bad, I personally think Conor would just get subbed if he was gassed and beneath Khabib for an extended period of time getting his shit pushed in. Obv the odds of Conor winning a decision are slim at best.

Like I said though, I think Conor is just going to KO him early but the fight will look super lopsided in the other direction if that doesn't happen.

I disagree 100%, Conor has been under a lot of pressure during his UFC carrer, and he always performed like he doesnt give a single fuck. In the other hand, this is the first real test for Khabib, he is been fighting B level competition so far IMO.

Think this interview sums it all up, considering his performance in the 2nd fight. GOAT mentality
