I believe most players who believe mizrachi played better than duhamel at the FT is probably not so good at poker, I myself was thinking mizrachi wasn't that bad (even tho not as good as cheong or duhamel)... giggy firmly told me mizrachi was one of the weak spot at the table and no offense but I'll take his opinion about other players more than you byrnesam, also Cheong after eliminated by Duhamel said he would come and rail john with us cuz he's totally rooting for him, he agrees that he was better than mizrachi obv
mizrachi isn't a BAD player, but he's not as good as duhamel.... yeah his hand vs Matt Affleck was kind of a blunder, but wtf if affleck had been on that table he probably would have been the best player on there, Duhamel doesn't play perfect, nobody does but judging him over 1 single hand, that's pretty fuckin stupid
|
and yet you firmly believe that the guy you have a piece of (and all your fellow railbirds who have a piece concur) that he is like the best player at the table and the guy with >$10,000,000 tourney winnings and $50k 8-game champion is not

I didn't see quite as much as you Fayth obviously, but I absolutely loved Cheong's play at the final table, the amount of walks he got and the folds to his 3/4bets was just sick... As I said I didn't see as much as you, I could be wrong but I believe he was the toughest player at the table, with Duhamel second. (Canada biased unfortunately fayth=])
grinder? - GTFO
Duhamel only has 54% of his action, but who cares I'm guessing he has 100% of his sponsership action - lol=] |
obv 100% of the sponsorship haha, and the sponsors plays such a huge role in that, man it's so insane, can't believe he made it there |

and i mean wtf byrne, mizrachi is out and duhamel is still in, duhamel didn't run good at all yesterday, he ran AK into AA to begin the day then he lost AK vs AQ vs racener's all in and then managed to get back in the game by winning a flip, i mean jesus come on it's pretty fuckin clear duhamel + cheong raped this table, it's too bad that cheong went overboard with his 6bet bluff all in and got eliminated 3rd, cuz that would have been a pretty nice HU final |

I dont see what the media has to do with results - Mizrachi isnt the one working off promotion of short term results. Im sure all of Dennis Phillips supporters thought he was the best player at the final table and that he played great when he was there.
Anyway, enjoy your moment. Hope Duhamel banks a lot off sponsorship over the next few years. Im going to go out on a limb and say that Mizrachi will continue his tournament success over the next few years, and people will remember his 2010 WSOP accomplishments long after Duhamel has made his appearances on HSP/PAD/Big Game, lost a few hundred thousand, busted next years main event and faded into obscurity.
Also, he looks like a weasel. |

a great accomplishment when Mizrachi started the FT with 14.5m and Duhamel had 66m |

lol yeah ok mizrachi ran good in a few big tournaments so he's automatically much better than john who has probably played 10 times more hands and just grinded his bankroll up, you seriously overestimate him cuz of his exposure, I'm basing my thoughts out of how they play their hands, you on the other hand cannot do that cuz u're not quite at that level |

Exposure... lol...he won the 50k 8-game and made 2 other final tables as well as the ME FT at this years WSOP.
Im sure youre basing it ONLY on how Duhamel has played his hands, it probably has nothing to do with the 5% and him being your friend
Was giving him a rimjob a stipulation of getting the 5%? |

dude what the fuck do you know, you're a microstakes player, are you gonna say hellmuth is better than mizrachi or duhamel cuz he has 11 fucking bracelets? you're just like every other casual out there who has no clue about poker trying to argue with me, this is really annoying, I'm not even sure why I'm responding to your stupid comments |

i've played a fair amount with the grinder in live NLHE tourneys... and im gunna have to agree w/ fayth. he knows how to beat up on fish but im pretty sure competent regs or better will win vs him. im sure he has some strong points in his game that i didn't see... but his weak points are pretty obvious
he has impressive stats but wtf we all know about variance. I know nothing about his abilities in any other game keep in mind only talking about NLHE |

lol, I know enough that Mizrachis results dwarf Duhamels (and always will)
Ironically, it is the likes of me - the microstakes railbird no clue fan boy who you would want supporting the potential main event champion.
Duhamel is just another pointless blip on the list of WSOP ME champions.
If you wanted to rank him with the most exciting main event champions he would be in there with Peter Eastgate and Jerry Yang.
At least everyone will remember him as the kid who made the horrendous play against Affleck to get to the FT.
Enjoy your nerdy circle jerk, you all seem like douche bags. |
