Aren't you from NH?????? There's a reason to drive up to NH every weekend and it sure isn't Portsmouth.

@ Euros: Thank you for your delicious cuisines, the renaissance, and well made cars. If you haven't tried it yet, consider beer pong our thank you gift. We'll be about even.

wtf bouncing is a fun rule to add to the game as long as you're only allowed to sneak it. so like, if they catch you bouncing they can block it, but if they miss it and it goes in, they have to drink two cups instead of one.

ofc it is

we use this rule here, its pretty funny at times

1 hinges are small. 2 the biggest part of the hinge is on the underside, and it also helps with the collapsing. 3 we took hitting the hinges into account, and decided that if you suck so much to hit the middle of the board with the ball, and it happens to hit a hinge, it's impossible to make it anyway, because you should be aiming atleast a foot and a half further up. and the table is standard 8 ft long, regulation size.

sigh...its like they are throwing money out of a helicopter and i dont have any hands...so i just break even.

Yeah we play that too but it's more or less something to do when you're desperate and the other team is distracted. I never really learned how to bounce, each table is different so you have to do it a few times to get the bounce down to begin with which is a waste.

TheTank   United States. Jun 16 2009 02:31. Posts 830

so basically spor, you were going to miss anyway if the hinges weren't there.
Rules: (in a nut shell...)+ Show Spoiler +

1. 2 beers, 6 cups per team, 2 players per team
2. Object is to throw the ping pong ball into other teams cup, each person on the team goes once, if they make a cup, the opposing team drinks the made cup, and it is then their turn.
2a. If both players make two cups, then both of the cups must be downed, and players get balls back and continue throwing.
2b. If both players make the SAME cup, then both players get balls back, and a 3rd cup is downed as a bonus. The players who have to drink decide which one.
3. ANY CUP WITH BEER IN IT IS ELIGIBLE TO BE THROWN INTO. This is important. If you can't finish the beer, then the cup is taken out and live. If its in your hand, on the table etc, and somehow the ball lands in it, a cup still in play must be taken by the person whose cup not in play it landed in.
4. There is 1 rerack per team. A rerack cannot be taken during a teams turn (ex: your team makes both shots and gets balls back, you must wait until after your done throwing.)
5. Once a thrown ball has touched a surface other than cup/beer, the opposing team has the opportunity to defend their cups by swatting a ball away, however, they may NOT be the first to touch a ball in flight.
6. Distractions are OK, although a man caught trying to distract another man is a lesser man than everyone else. Distracting is a primary tool for A) women that suck B) getting a chick naked. (tits are legal)
7. Any beer that has fallen (whether the ball knocked it off the table or some drunk knocked it over himself by being clumsy), the cup is downed and another cup must be drank by the rule breaker.
8. If you hit a ball before it hits the ground, you must take 2 cups.
9. CHICKS BLOW, GUYS FINGER: Sometimes a ball will spin around the cup. If this is the case, girls may blow into the cup and try to blow the ball out. If the ball has not touched beer yet, and the ball comes out of the cup, it does not count. Guys have it a little harder, however. They can finger. This means that if in said scenario, the guy can try to "finger" the ball out by sticking his fingers into the cup. The finger or the ball cannot touch the beer or it doesn't count.
REDEMPTION Redemption is where once a team as won the game, the opposing team has a final opportunity to force sudden death. Once a team has made all oppositions cups, each person on the losing team gets to shoot until they miss. If they make all of the winnings teams cups, this forces SUDDEN DEATH
SUDDEN DEATH
3 cups, 1 beer. Same rules apply. No 2nd sudden death. First team to down 3 cups loses.

LOSING TEAM MUST DRINK REMAINING BEER FROM WINNING TEAM
...unless recycling b/c u only have a 12 pack. then the remaining beer is used in the next game.

Obv more rules, but those are the big ones that happen the most often.

This actually sounds like a lot of fun instead of the normal stupid card drinking games before hitting the bars. The only problem I see is that I woulnd't know anyone who have a table like that or even plastic cups. Ive only seen plastic cups at festivals tbh.

You could really use any table as long as you think it's long enough. Standard is 3'x8'. And about the cups... i could send you like 100 cups for like < $3 lol

If anyone else was wondering...
i would like $350 USD for a plain table w/ no design, $500+ if you want it painted (could go up b/c of the cost of paint and how many colors u want + how intricate you want the table to be)
But I can literally do just about anything on the table. Literally, don't think i can't do it. I tore up the carpet in my room and painted wood floors on the cement foundation a couple of years ago and no one has guessed right yet. I also did a 3-d brick design on my walls...looks pretty sweet
+shipping obv.

Haha thanks but I don't think the problem is that there is NO plastic cups in Denmark, there just no use for it. I guess Americans use them when partying with kegs?
Don't know, don't think you can buy kegs here like over there. Have to have added CO2(I have no clue) or something and a freezer and shit.

Might try and arrange this on thursday with some friends if I can find some red or blue cups. THESE ARE THE ONLY ONES THAT WILL WORK

i dont like rec cups actually, its hard to measure alcohol proportions unless its a room with very good lighting.

Recently some company started selling indestructible plastic cups !!! you can crush them, fold them and put them in your pocket and they dont break or leak !!! i love them :D
