Doomer, get a mail in ballot. Tell me the state you're in and I'll hunt down the form for you. That way in early october they'll mail you a ballot, you fill it out at home and put it in the mail and bam, you voted. Ez.

Also, for anyone who isn't registered go to http://www.voteforchange.com/ and it will help you get registered. This year is far too important to stay at home. Get registered ASAPLY! The deadline is Oct 6th!

The good news is that ultimately, it does not matter if you vote or not.

The chances that your vote be that one deciding vote to sway the election is infinitesimally small. I always found that doing something that will yield no result/change to be somewhat dumb.

Therefore, be smart, don't vote.

Seriously doomer, don't sit at home. I get it, the lines suck. Get yourself a mail in ballot (or absentee ballot) and you won't have to leave the house. that's what I have - fuck the lines. But even if you can't get one of those, you should still go get in line and vote. You're a poker baller, you're free to make ur own schedule so it's not like your job is keeping you in. Too bad you don't live in a pure Red or Blue state. I live in a Red state and I can stay at home knowing that my vote wouldn't make a difference either way (not that'd I'd actually vote for Obama).
