exactly why mods want to overlook that ban neilly thread. one of them said if someone was owed money and it wasnt a stake hed be banned, and they damn well know there are plenty of ppl on here he owes money yet hasnt paid, yet they still dont ban because they want their entertainment. great way to set a moral standard imo.

No. I think it would be retarded to ban him for debts. I'm guessing most of the people who loaned him money are his friends from starcraft. If it wasn't liquidpoker.net i wouldn't even have known dreame had gambling problems. I thought he would be a winning player like rest of the starcraft community and even if he lost it i thought he'd pay me back with his money he said he had.

Neilly isnt scamming anyone, people are giving him money to play poker and he is loosing it... that is called a bad investment.

u cant say how everyone should think going into something baal. u cannot speak for them. ya we view it as stupid if they loan him money, however theyre loaning him money on the basis they would get it back if he lost it, and that hasnt happened a number of times, and thats not an investment its a loan. if it were a stake and he loses it, i agree he doesnt need to pay it, but if its a loan its different, and thus its borderline a scam.

What investment? I'm sure most of the people who loaned neilly just did it out of generosity. Ive been reading his blog for quite sometime now and I read things like "ppl who loaned neilly are retarded" but look alot of us knew neilly from back in starcraft and he was cool dude and not every1 visits liquidpoker daily. I had no idea that hes a gambler. I know its retarded to lend money to some1 you 'don't even know' but all my loans with my so called internet friends turned out fine. I never left a comment like "pay me back" because i didn't want him to look stupid. But i feel like i should let others know now so people don't actually lend him money again.

You loaned him money to play poker, he lost it, that in my eyes is not a scam its a poor decision by you.
