Off to a slow start but really picked up towards the end

We have now sunk to a depth at which restatement of the obvious is the first duty of intelligent men.

It was alright, but it feels like they stole the idea for the episode from a Daniel Tosh bit..

It really annoys me this judging and rating and complaining about episodes. They are given to us free, let's enjoy them.

Researchers used brain scans to show that when straight men looked at pictures of women in bikinis, areas of the brain that normally light up in anticipation of using tools, like spanners and screwdrivers, were activated.

C'mon... we're allowed to say what we think about the episodes. It doesn't matter if they're free or not.. we are still spending our time watching them and we have opinions afterwards. That's kinda why this topic is here on the forum... Would you rather every comment was like "That was great!" or "Boy, I really enjoyed that!" and everyone else didn't post? Trey parker/matt stone really don't give a shit about what we say anyway.

No, I'm not taking the extreme. Judge and criticise and praise and discuss is great. The internet in things like this just too often feels like a bunch of people trying to be cool like a goth kid by not liking shit. I must be too high, cos I like nice things.

How are they free when they are made specifically to profit from consumers?

The makers/whoever holds the purse strings choose whether it will make a profit; I choose (hopefully) whether it will profit from me.

Your comment complements your sig awesomely.

This week wasnt so good, it felt as if they had 8 minutes of material and made a 20 minute episode out of it.

average 2nd episode. It was too stuck on one place but had a few good laughs.

I liked the episode. The jokes were kind of drawn out but I like that they were drawn out. The parodies of the characters like the home shopping guy and the korean store owners were great.

So far I've found the first two episodes to be reasonably funny and interesting. Their choice of targets to mock have been pretty deserving as well. Hopefully they keep it up for the rest of the season.

Southpark at it's best so far this season, at least for me. Instant classics if Cartman pulled off something epic, but he's been fading past few seasons. The jewerly loop scene is fucking amazing, from the observation of how things may work to delivery, crisp timing and increasingly vivid/crazy voices as backround music.

I've had this fucking song in my head since seeing the episode. Luckily it's awesome.
