They still are under contract for 7 more episodes this season. However rumors have it that Trey and Matt are thinking of making this the last season.

this whole season is a fucking fail. southpark better get better writers or just call 15 years and millions enough to save face.

The creators have said they are only getting 1 week to put together each episode and it's down to the wire every time. Also look at how random and stupid some of the episodes were.. with "funny bot" or the tooth decay monster.

Pretty good quote from that article. Explains a lot in terms of why this seasons episodes have been very hit and miss. Although honestly people say that every season - I enjoy most of them. I actually really liked this one. It was different of them to be a little more serious.

I also liked this one, not very funny.. but good.

Find it pretty funny that I was thinking the same thing as stan when watching those exact movie trailers, same with the icecream.. and music..

hopefully they get more time to make the next season. :/
