Benyamine is so lucky that Guy let him off the hook with that idiotic "How about you just let me take the pot and we call it off" Was it on purpose or accidental? Who knows but Benyamine is Guy's bitch. Benyamine jumped at the chance and of course it was the best play. At the very least they should have ran it for the 160,000.
As to people complaining with all the "business" that's being conducted on HSP. I think Gabe said framed it best when he said that they are trying to capture what happens in a real high stakes game. You can't say for certain that that Ivey or Townsend wouldn't run it twice or thrice in a game like this. It still sucks to lose even if the money doesn't mean anything to them.
Decent episode. |

nobody else is pissed off at guy? this is pathetic, its ridiculous to play such high stakes if nobody is gonna ever go bust. theres more action in a smaller stakes game, and it becomes much more entertaining to watch. this is just friggin frustrating. nobody else agrees? |
I agree, would be alot more interesting without any deal making |

I think Benyamine should have left the game after taking that offer, if he really cant afford it...

That's exactly the point

No problem for me that they run card as much as they want, but at least after the deal, they run something
I agree ! |

Does anyone miss Gold? It actually enjoyed his retardedness and living in hope that he would go broke. Seems as though the game has lost a lot of action without Gold's retard loose passive style.
Hypothetical: if you were in Benyamine's shoes having been let off the hook by Guy, and later on he puts you allin pf and you have AA, would you call?
Would you feel obliged to make some deal similar to what Guy did for you? |

I will never miss Gold. The game is better without him. |

its obviously not as exciting, but multiple re buys of 1/2 mil dollar, lets be honest here, theres only guy who can do that. i dont reeally mind who has the most chips at the table, you cant even see the chip counts anyway. but i agree that esferandi should disapear, like the good old magician he is |

I wouldn't have even took the deal if i was Benyamine. Fucking gambool, if the money is too much don't sit in the first place, or at least fold the hand instead of shoving. I don't really even like the gesture from Guy to be honest, seems kinda insulting like "I have so much money, this is nothing to me and it's everything to you guys", I dunno I found it kinda arrogant or something. This is poker for fucks sakes, fucking play instead of making these retarded deals all the time. |

I'm okay with running it several times - losing 3 coinflips for 500K would prolly tilt the shit out of Ivey too. What Guy did is just bad for poker, and if Guy is playing for charity and not to buy himself another Lambo (cause that's what Benyamine would do) he should feel more than good about taking 600K from that dude.
Btw how come people are flaming Esfandiari, but not Patrick - that guy played 3 hands from what I can remember. And I think Patrick has way more money than Antonio too. I like both players but they were tighter than anybody at that table so far. |

Dont fool around with shortstacks preflop ... put his dumbass allin. he is not allowed to raise on your table without a good hand: vital[Myth] | |

Wrong: Barry, Doyle, Antonius and Farha can afford that, and that's why they give action. At the Bellagio, it's common to sit in front of a mil.

yea wtf antonious doenst even know what to do with aces, even when he hits a set with em. gay.
and while farha doyle and patrick play at these lvls, i doubt they can have a multiple buyin dowsing and not affect their life roll, thats why they do multiple runs in the big games too? guy is the only one who can afford lets say a 2.5 mil downsing and keep playing, while if doyle would be down 2.5 he would be shitting his pants |

Yeah pretty sure they're allowed to quit whenever they wish to? At least it seems that way with the way people leave (safai, gold etc) |

ya that's what it seemed like to me too, so i don't see what the problem is really. it's not like they're gonna have "multiple buyin downswings" if they can just quit whenever they want |
