it seems like ASL gets better every season. I know remastered came out in 2017 but watching broodwar REMASTERED in HD is still so amazing to me. I look forward to it so much each season.

Honestly its so awesome that light and rush are both stepping up. Rush especially has gone ultra instinct now. He is definitely #1 imo. Hes pretty much only stream i watch now that flash is gone. Its absolutely insane how ez he just racks up wins Tvp and tvz right now against everyone. Just dumpstering a protoss 3 times in a row and then you notice "oh shit thats mini"

this is so exciting. Rain is in SUCH good shape right now. I saw him 3-0 or 4-0 rush the other night. It was disgusting the man is a murderer right now. I actually picked him and mini to get out because i think mini has v slight edge vs light potentially in first match and then rain to beat royal kind of badly maybe. I just dont see a way for light to get out a high % unless he takes out mini and then mini i guess in the losers match. Obviously light is very close to mini and rain skillwise but i think its still like 50% chance for him to get out at best

I started it late and didn't see first 2 games except result but I'm here to witness my boy rush win it all. He's my favorite player now besides flash obv. I started randomly watching his stream and besides flash he is the most impressive player to watch I've ever seen. Truly soooooo fluid. His decision making tbh is one of the most impressive too. He very rarely makes the wrong decision in super chaotic games. In games like yesterday royal vs mini last game where royal was indecisive at that one key point. That's rarely happens to him even when there's very little info. He somehow knows what's up.

I prefer Tastosis cast but I'm getting frustrated with how much later it comes out. Not sure why it takes a whole week after the live show to put out their show. I've been watching Scan/Nyoken's cast just because I don't feel like waiting anymore.

Also I wish there were some special maps for ZvZ TvT or PvP. I wonder if they could make some maps where ZvZ goes to late game, cause it doesn't even seems to happen like 1% now.

I'm not agreeing with what Heims said but, just wanted to comment about balanced. I think they did a statistical breakdown of either ASL records, or records from Kespa era until now. I Don't remember which one, but it showed that if you removed flash from the stats terran was doing really badly lol.

But with flash gone it seems that Terrans are the best players now. With rush and royal now being the best pretty much.

I think terran are doing well right now, you'd have to remove the stats from the top zerg / protoss to compare. I think the game has different balance at different skill level, and overall they are pretty close to 50%. Protoss seems easier at low APM and harder at the very top.

Keep in mind Larva was injured, possible he returns in the future and takes these terrans out. Some good zergs atm, but watching eg Jaedong practise games you can tell he's still a monster esp w/ defiler control and scourge bait plays. Super super sick the way he plays when he's focused etc etc, just seems to lack that consistency when it comes to ASL. My guess is ASL means a lot less to him nowadays due to $$$ from streaming? Not sure if any of you have insight into how much the Korean streamers are making
