If the reg isn't a massive it I don't think you should fold. You underplayed your hands by flatting and it's likely the reg will jam somewhat lighter(mostly draws) with the possible fish in the hand.

Thanks guys, Villain was 18-15-2 so quite tight, I had no notes on him spazzing. He had Ah3h. Fish had KsJs. Villain had both of us crushed pretty hard here with the nfd + bdsd + draws to better 2p + trips. Very nice play on his part here.

the reg had a draw, the short random fish has a much wider range than top 2 pair, this was the correct play

That is actually a pretty good advice, or bet bigger. I feel like half pot isn't the best sizing here as it leaves pretty profitable calls for draws(not terrible by any mean tho). Small bets are more likely to induce raise for protection.
