- A women's bantamweight bout between Marion Reneau and Ketlen Vieira was scheduled for the event. However, Reneau was pulled from the bout on September 16 citing an undisclosed injury and was replaced by Sijara Eubanks on September 16.
- Nate Landwehr was expected to face Shane Young in a featherweight bout at this event. However, Landwehr was pulled from the event after testing positive for COVID-19 and replaced by promotional newcomer Ludovit Klein on September 17.

Kai Kara France I'll parlay with another high probability favorite.
What do you think of that Blachowicz line tho..? Seems off.

My picks thus far are just who I think will win without doing any research.
I have 2 bets far on O2.5 for the ME, and Kai Kara France ML.
I will likely bet on Blachowicz, and I am waiting for Eubanks' ML to get better since people still hate on her and overrate Ketlen. I will actually be putting $200 on Eubanks ML and also want to bet her TKO/KO line since Ketlen has no head movement + Eubanks goes hard in R1 with heavy punches + Eubanks' cardio looked improved in her recent win + Eubanks decided to take this fight on short notice in Abu Dhabi which tells me she sees this as a favorable match-up.
Edit: I will be in Vegas for this card, so I am waiting until I get to Vegas before I make my bigger bets. I will add another $500 to O2.5 on the ME, a bigger bet on Kai Kara France, and a bet on Eubanks. Not sure what else I like yet.

Have you any problems cashing out from 5Dimes? Been hearing a lot of complaints about delayed cash outs lately.

I stopped using 5dimes a month ago.
I now use BetAnySports.eu, which is identical to 5dimes in every way. It's basically 5dimes with a different name, even though it's a different company.
5Dimes just had their rating suspended at SBR. This is recent.

Yeah, I luckily stopped using 5dimes a couple of weeks before the day when everyone found out that American users would be banned from the website and to take their money out as soon as possible.
You should look at BetAnySports.eu -- it's the same as 5dimes, except it allows Americans. Most of my money is in Vegas, so I'm not worried about it like some people who can't travel, as well as those who waited for the last week or day to withdraw their money from 5dimes.
I got like 500 bucks on there. Meh.. You think they're gonna close anytime soon or are the delays just cos everybody from the US are trying to cash out at the same time?

My friend asked me this. I told him the way 5dimes worded the temporary closure to Americans sounded like he should remove all of his money asap, because after the date they provided, you wouldn't be able to get it back at all.
Don't leave your money in 5dimes if you're American. At this point, I'd move to a different book even if I was European or Asian.

Just made a deposit at BAS. New book, feeling lucky. Gamble on William Knight, Klein and got a safer bet on the over 2.5 for the co main. Parlayed City boys KKF and Riddel.

I keep going back and forth between Izzy and Costa. The safest bet is O2.5, but as a gambler, I also want to take a side.
I don't think Costa will fight like we expect him to, as this is for a title, he is trained by guys who game plan well like Wallid Ismael and Eric Albarracin (Henry Cejudo and Patricio Pitbull's coach), and he knows he can't go hard in R1 and risk gassing for the other 4 rounds. Not to mention Izzy is the most technical fighter in the division, so Costa can't just swing wild and hope to land, he needs to clinch + work the body (he's good at this) + leg kick to slow down the tall + skinny fighter.
I was listening to a podcast that mentioned the stats of O2.5 props for main events and title fights over the past year. I'll post it later today when I find which video it's in.
Adesanya: Trained by Eugene Bareman – Adesanya, KKF, Riddell, and Young’s coach)
• via Joe Osborne of OddsShark.com: There have been 13 UFC title fights thus far in 2020. 9 of those 13 title fights went Over 2.5 rounds. 11 of the last 14 non-title main events have went Over 2.5 rounds.
• 6’4 vs. 6’1, 80 inch vs. 72 inch. 5 of 8 wins in the UFC went to a decision for Adesanya, and 2 of his 3 finishes ended Over 1.5 rounds; Costa 1 of 5 wins in the UFC went to a decision, and 3 of his 4 finishes were in Round 2. Big cage, which allows for more movement and less of a chance of finishing.
• UFC game (everyone on the cover loses afterward): Ronda, Conor, Conor again, Masvidal, and now Adesanya.
Costa: Trained by Eric Albarracin – Henry Cejudo & Patricio Pitbull’s coach, both champ-champs)
• He’s not a 1-punch KO artist like casuals think he is, he pressures people and throws a lot of arm punches instead of technical strikes.
o Stats and stuff:
? Round 1 will be slow, as they’ll feel each other out. Costa won’t go hard and blow his wad in R1. After seeing how Romero fought against Adesanya, I think we’ll see Costa do his best to slow Adesanya down and limit his movement, like throwing more leg kicks, working the body (which he’s good at), and attempting to clinch against the cage (which makes it so Adesanya can’t throw any strikes, as he can only strike from a distance).
? Run-in in the hotel lobby: both were super chill and they were joking at how slim each other was. The UFC and its employees tried to spin it and say how there is animosity there, and how their joking mood really meant something else. I’m not buying that BS. If they truly hated each other, they wouldn’t be cordial in a hallway, and wouldn’t be okay with the other person touching them.
o My Pick: Over 2.5 -115 on BAS (currently have $345 for $300), and we’ll see what line I can get when I arrive in Vegas, but I will risk whatever to win an additional $500.
Two fighters were 4 lbs overweight. What does that usually mean? They didn't actually try that hard to cut the weight and won't really affect their performance badly? As opposed to being 1 lbs overweight...

When fighters miss weight by 3+ pounds, it usually means they stopped trying to cut the weight because they knew they weren't going to make it.
There was a recent fight where a fighter missed weight by multiple pounds, and they looked bad in the cage. So, I think it just depends on the person on whether or not they stopped cutting weight to preserve their energy and have a slight edge on fight night, or if they really had a bad weight cut and stopped cutting weight because their body wouldn't allow them to cut anymore weight.
1.5 pounds or less overweight usually means they tried to cut the weight, but their body wouldn't allow them to cut anymore.
For Tukhugov, I have no idea why he missed weight. For Klein, he took this fight on 8 days short notice.
Why are a lot of people so excited about Royval? I watched only one of his fights, vs Elliot. I didn't really like what I saw with his striking. KKF trains with City and has trained at Tiger.

I'm at the airport, on my way to Vegas.
The Over 2.5 Izzy/Costa fight will be -150 or so by the time my airplane lands. I'll bet $750 to win $500. I'll also add $50 on Costa R2 +900 or better as a hedge to the 2.5 rounds bet I'll have in Vegas and the $345 I already have on the Over at -115 on BAS. I also want to bet on Costa at +165 or better; he's currently +167 on 5dimes.
I'm seeing this as more than a strong brawler vs. a technical striker. I expect Costa to show different tools in this fight, which I mentioned in my breakdown: a lot more leg kicks than usual, punches to the body, and a little bit of clinching against the cage to keep Izzy in one spot to unload on him. Those 3 things will slow Izzy down enough for Costa to land his higher output on Izzy than many people are expecting.

will always hate the fact that izzy is champ, guy is so unlikable.
I think Blachowicz could actually be big enough for JBJ to have trouble
Adesanya too good for this division, so annoying when celebrating tho. Think he got additionally pissed cause Costa acted a bit like Silva
Also lol at all those people wearing masks underneath their nose, might as well just take em off

Im surprised not so many people are talking about Adesanya gyno, there's no more obvious sign of steroid use than this
it's very clear that he's not clean and somehow USADA didn't catch him, maybe he gets a free pass because now he just signed contracts and its UFC poster boy

Isn't USADA an independent organization from the UFC?

yea but who knows, money talks, Jones got away with the picograms "pulsing" on his fight vs Smith, and as he got suspended like 3 times already he's not risking anymore, maybe this explains his last 2 fights underwhelming performances and moving up to HW
Izzy def took something this camp, I don't think is debatable

Does USADA have any authority outside the US? Those fights are all done in Abu Dhabi on the other side of the planet, If fighters do their camps outside the US it would be virtually impossible to get caught?

Good question. Cos that and USADA being corrupt according to drone666. Then there's a huge possibility that Costa could be juiced too and still got his ass kicked.

I didn't say that USADA is corrupt, even they prob took it easy on Jon though
Izzy probably didn't do a post cycle therapy because he would get caught with an aromatase inhibitor or something to avoid side effects and got man boobs, so most likely he just tricked them

I said "who knows, money talks" and addressed Jones case
you don't know anything about steroids to say "COSTA IS JUICED BC HE HAS BIG MUSCLES" he surely did in the past to achieve his body composition esp because every fighter uses steroids when they don't have strict tests as when they are in the UFC, but there's no clear indication that he's still using something now, body composition didn't change, didn't have any suspicious leap in performance through out his UFC carreer ( Ben Rothwell comes to mind ) esp with USADA on his ass all the time due to his physique
and if you read my first post in this thread I said "maybe Adesanya juiced up for this fight so they are even?"
More Plates More Dates and Greg Doucette also made videos on Costa before the fight if he's natty or not
Dont listen to anything I say

also would like to add that I didn't think Costa had much of a chance coming into this fight and thought he was going to lose regardless the steroid controversy, was inclined to bet Adenasya with that -160 line but I'm avoiding sport bets

I said there's a possibility that usada is corrupt, I don't think Costa did any steroid use for 253, but it's possible
people think he's on roids because of his physique, but he already had the same physique back in TUF, maintaining the physique after building it with steroids is not hard
how the fuck anybody would know the answer for these questions 100% without any inside info?

No cos I'm in agreement. I think there are corrupt people behind USADA and everybody in the UFC has some to high probability of PED use. And not just the UFC, in all sports organizations.
