The UFC makes just as much money if not more with sponsors. They just want a product as frequently as possible then throw in an occassional haymaker of an event once or twice a year to even ratings out. That way it's marketable enough of a brand to sell to advertisers. Gate and PPV matter but as much as we think it does, but ad revenue goes directly to the UFC so with mediocre cards only the fighters are getting fucked lol

The UFC is forced to have a PPV event when a title fight happens, aside from shitty title fights like Demetrious Johnson title defenses. And, since Whittaker is from Australia and Adesanya represents Nigeria/New Zealand, it was a must that this card be in Australia.

Hella people from Australia/New Zealand will go, which is why the UFC saved all of their good fighters for upcoming cards.

i like whittaker but he is 0-2 vs romero. I mean the 1st fight maybe u give to whittaker but the second fight romero beat the fuck out of him

whittaker may also be straight up done healthwise. has anyone champ every taken as much time off as him? even mcg took less I havent seen the lines yet but im guessing the zero juice line is something like -160 adesanya

adensanya needs to fight a real banger to prove himself to me as the best. If he takes down romero or costa he is for sure the real deal. I'm not sold if he beats a broken faded whittaker
