That was dissapointing. But Jones, in the interview- seemed like he had everything figured out (very well analyzed).

amanda's win was extremely satisfying for me. always liked her as a fighter and ufc might actually might start to give her a push.

I think she chose the wrong approach given the sick cardio she displayed against Holm she could have been more cautious and dirty box amanda for the first rounds and then go hard later... I suppouse fighters like her just find it hard not to just go all out against another brawler, theres more in the line than just the win.

Jones only loses in HW imo, too physically gifted and mentally above everyone else in LHW. DC without the weight cutting at HW would still interest me. Alex went full hypeman and kinda lied about being aggressive in the fight lol - he's the Cerrone of the LHW

Jones didn't seem to manhandle Gustafsson, so he didn't feel much stronger in terms of pure strength, thus I kinda doubt he was juiced up. As I said though, Jones will crush him. I don't know if it's him that analyzes other fighters or it's his team, but the way he adapts is just insane. They are top-tier professional athletes and he just completely destroys them in pure technical skills. Doesn't matter if Jones was juiced up vs DC, his technique was light years ahead, DC looked clueless and juicing won't help you with that - same thing happened to Gustafsson ... what the fuck was the god thing in the post fight interview though lmao, was he ever religious?


I wanna see Jones vs DC for HW title, pretty sure Jones will crush his soul again but would be more interested in a followup - Jones vs Miocic - that would be the best fight in the UFC right now imo.


Cyborg kind of lost the fight on her own imo, you can't do what she did vs Nunes in the beginning of the fight. She has superior range and her punches obv knock chicks out, chances are you're gonna get caught on the way back and be in a shitty spot.

Jones can go aggro with his physical gifts and power but chooses to fuck opponents over by them outplaying themselves. They know they can't fight outside the pocket with that dhalsim ass reach so they dont have a choice but to chase and eat shots while Jon backpedals from round 1 to 3. It's somewhat unfair he chooses to do this but he's a really clever fighter for having the control of not overcommitting to anything until its time to do so. He usually turns it up in round 3 4 and i usually see him chasing down guys if he feels his opponents are weakend by all those oblique kicks and straights. Guy is a sociopath who loves inflicting pain that's for sure, he seems to legitimately enjoy dishing out punishment
