Great performance from Tony Martin. His striking improved and he didn't even need his grappling to win.

Vettori with a lackluster performance. He went K-1 in Round 1 and used a lot of energy, so it was hard to get TDs in R2/R3.

I expected a submission win for Vettori.

Its easy to say after the fight happened, but i thought boetch was a really good bet at +195

As we know, Hendricks generally had 3 main paths to victory in his fights:

#1 Wrestle fucking his opponements
#2 Powerfull left hands (Ko Power, damage factor)
#3 Solid standup due to points #1 and #2

The problem here is....

#1 This was unlikely to happen, since Boetch is much bigger than Hendricks and not that easy to wrestle fuck
#2 Hendricks hasn't KO anyone since 2012 and i doubt this will start at Middle Weight.
#3 I guess Outstriking Boetch for 3 rounds was his most likely path to victory, but it seemed unlikely to me. We have seen before that Hendricks absolutly can't win a standup against tall guys with his T rex arms.

And now, i wonder what the ufc will do with him. I think they probably don't want to let him go since he remains a good draw, and they know if they release him, bellator will welcome him with open arms. But he clearly is garbage at middle weight, and he clearly can't make weight anymore at welterweight.
