judging by body types alone, i like waterson better. the other girl looks like a marathon runner.
Well... she beat this one before so I dont think that is a good point

puertorican, when you said dunno with waterson vs. namajunas, is it because you think its a coinflip?
Rose and Michelle are identical in terms of skill set, but they have differences when they're actually in a fight.
Tough fight to call on paper. Gotta remember that the UFC made this fight for Michelle, some see it as a way for them to push her into a title shot since this is essentially a #1 contender fight, and Michelle is one of the few UFC fighters who is managed & promoted by WME-IMG (the company that owns the UFC now).
Michelle has been on a media tour doing a ton of interviews and promotion, while Rose has been at some shitty camp training with people I never heard of. Michelle is a Jackson-Wink fighter, and she trains with a lot of good female fighters at her gym (the elite male fighters at Jackson-Wink are too big for her to train with, unlike Cynthia Calvillo at Team Alpha Male).
On a side note, Rose (24-years-old) has been dating Pat Barry (37-years-old, former UFC fighter) for 10 years.
I actually kind of like this card. Definitely all of the main event are great.

Whittaker should be the main event

I like Whittaker at odds. Good fight. What does Jacare do though if he stomps Robert too? GSP slowed up the already slow division and Romero is next whenever that is. But Jacare will have beaten literally almost everyone else. Guy can't keep fighting the Chris Camozzi's of the world
Like Namajunas but thought it'd be pretty much pick 'em, not at -150 for Rose. Prob still going to be on her. Personally like both fighters. Unfortunate one has to lose and the other (prob only Waterson if she wins) goes on to a probable mauling from Joanna
Prob Stephens and Aljo on the main card. Maybe parlay them with Cummings. Though I suspect it won't be all that surprising when on Monday, people are talking about how bad of a hype job bust Aljo was

Depends what you see in Whittaker.
I liked him at first, but have liked him less after more thought. A lot of people think Rob needs to KO Jacare to win, which is bad since he isn't a 1-punch KO guy, and he has been to plenty of decisions. If Rob were to win a decision, he'd need to be able to stop the TDs, trips, and power punching of Jacare (he has more 1-punch power than Rob, but lacks technique).
People also mention Rob's 90% TDD in the UFC, but he hasn't faced anyone good who has tried to take him down. The best wrestler he fought was Brunson, and that was a guy with a lot of power and no technique emptying his gas tank in R1 by chasing a superior striker around the cage and not going for any TDs, which is exactly what Werdum did in his KO loss to Miocic.

why is jacare fighting again so soon?
Mine as well stay busy and make money. The MW champ is fighting GSP and we don't even know when, might not be till later this year. And then after that Romero is next in line. Though there is a decent chance winner of GSP vs Bisping vacates and they do Romero vs Jacare for the vacant belt.

Ended up on 3 dogs. Whittaker, Roy, and a small one on Green
Passed on any parlays and the co-main though I may throw in a last minute one there. Going to miss most of undercard but definitely won't miss 2nd and 3rd billing fights. High hopes that Whittaker? will make this a great fight. Wish both those fights were 5 rounds instead of DJs fight

UFC announcers just said they're using the OLD rules for this event. So remember what that means about a grounded opponent, liberal 10-8 rounds, etc.

Sanchez is about to win a decision and gasses enough in R3 to get caught by a body kick... FML

I had it for Bobby Green, but I expected a split-decision.
----------
Duquesnoy looked good in certain areas, but he was given a soft opponent who hasn't fought for 2 years or so and is a wrestler with a bad gas tank.
Gotta be careful with this kid going forward, especially since he got wobbled twice or so.

Ship it Whittaker
Those fast, awkward hands are legit. Surprising hip strength in the cpl scrambles early

Mario Yamasaki waits for Jacare to move and get out of trouble before stopping it...
Jacare turned and got on his knees after avoiding a big swarm of punches, then Yamasaki stopped the fight when Jacare was out of danger.

Jacare was pretty fucked up though. Streaming blood. Many lesser fights with lesser fighters get stopped quite a bit sooner

Mario really is terrible but if ou're suggesting it was an early stoppage, you're pretty nuts. Jacare was drunk stumbling after
karate hottie showed she was focused more or distracted on a potential title shot than the task at hand during interviews.

And, I feel the same way after I see every Demetrious Johnson fight: Cool, I guess...
Good fighter, but it's easy for him to keep getting wins in a division where nobody else is well-rounded. His opponents all specialize in one skill, or are just mediocre across the board.

haha yea. I love DJ but he has to move up. No one is going to want to watch him beat up everyone with no challenge forever
