Just bought a tookit for replacing cotton and rebuilding coils. Now I can vape continuously and not have to go the vape shop every 3 days
I've stopped smoking for 2 weeks, I feel the tech is good enough to quit smoking altogether. I also can go around without my Vape Kit and be fine unlike cigs before where I couldnt be anywhere without smoking every 5mins

what is it exactly that made u visit the vapeshop so often. Also, what does replacing and rebuilding coils really do.

cotton gets burned so bad it tastes like shit - 2 to 4 days, depending on how it was done or extremely heavy use
coils get fucked up coz of the heat it tastes like shit - 5 to 7 days depending on coil and how it was done and obv heavy use
youtube whatever you got for guidance, also ask your trusted vape guy to ease you in they will know what to recommend
im no handyman at all arirang, its very easy. just cutting cottons and putting it in or cutting wires and using the tools to wrap it as a coil, its really worth the better sleep and overall well being you get from zero smoking cigs (30 year smoker didnt stop for shit maybe 1.5 packs a day)

Upgraded to tfv8 baby beast + minikin 2. I used to build my own coils but with the quality of newer sub ohm tanks, i don't really see the reason to build anymore

yeah I use the different jap cotton. what does sub ohm mean btw? so many terms i dont understand, but i see there are lots of pre-built coils being sold and they are cheap but very durable so building does feel like the wrong thing to do

vaping with resistance level lower than 1 ohms

I just discovered "Clapton" coils work 5x better for flavor and cloud. Slightly more expensive than regular wire but totally worth iiiit
They tell me mechanical mods are the shit and very little maintenance, but I think that's for hardcore users who like to tinker - those badly managed mech mods by unknowing users are the ones exploding so Im not touching those and sticking with variables.
mechanical mods - manual, no regulation
Variable mods - automatic regulation of current, safer for noobs

I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance, by running away from the scene of an accident.

I've had my vaporizer for like over 6 months and I still havent changed the cotton or coil, it doesnt taste bad at all, its a ceramic Horizontech atomizer, I vape at 0.4 ohms is it because of the low resistance?

Yeah I think that's those sub ohm ones with really high temps. I'm still trying to understand how everything is like is your kit like a mech or a variable? I read mechs can go really low resistance but not sure if variables can do it too. I dont wanna mess with mechs since those battery explosions are caused by mechs mostly.
reading up on ceramic coils i reckon its a fairly new thing, still debating whether its unhealthy or not lol. But yeah each time I run out of liquid and inhale that awful burnt cotton straight to my lungs its never good haha. I'll look into these ceramic coils

Thats my mod, its set at 45w and 0.41 omhs.
I googled that about ceramic coils but it doesnt seem to be some real study about it, as far as I know ceramic does not release fumes or silicon gasses that could cause silicosis in the lungs, Ceramic and clay has been used for hundreds of years in hookas an in the kitchen and if it were dangerous I think we would know.
of course I dont know for sure and Its scary, ill research it a bit more too.

nice looking variable mod there. I better sell what I have and get that instead lol
how about leaking issues?
set mine at 35w and .24 ohms, not even sure if thats optimal

this mod (Cuboid) is heavy as fuck, I stay home most of the time so its not a big deal, but it has 2 AA rechargable batteries, so its a brick, the upside is that the battery last a very long time and dettachable batteries are much better than integrated battery packs since when they degrade you just trow them out and buy new ones for cheap and if its integrated you gotta buy a new mod.

If you really want a reliable, less time changing batteries, dripping, wiping off leaks I'd recommend getting
Quad Box Mod
*Ijoy, Seglei, any brand with Quad 300 to 350watts since it's got 4 batteries, longer vaping means less time charging, changing batteries.
Sub-Ohm Tank - low resistance builds, better vapor and flavor, bigger juice:
*OBS Engine - has not failed me with leaks, just learn to change coils and wicks. Top filling and airflow
*OBS Ace - this is an option if you don't want to change coils, changing cotton or wicks is way easier. Just buy the coils they have for sale
If you get the one with ceramic coils, then it's pretty idiot proof to use and maintain. I suggest those if it's cleared of health things Baal said.
