There's a few in jokes but just think of it as mocking all this we are the future ted talks. This wasn't condoned he said he was a vice videographer in somalia and other bs to get in. Yea you're right if he wouldn't have been chuckling all performance it would have been better because they caught on.

mm, execution was so poor, so whatever he was trying to do with the parody, was just boring. Dunno, ted talks lost it appeal ages ago when everyone could start hosting them, + a million better things to listen to than that I think

marius you should just focus on ted and disregard tedx. ted talks are still exclusive.

I mean mainly the difference is that tedx is geared towards local community while ted are supposed to be more global, but that's also reflected in who ends up speaking. And while there were more than 10k tedx talks last year, I think the number of actual ted ones were like, less than 5.

Couldn't bear myself to watch past 2nd minute cause the guy is super annoying and was wasting time randomly, maybe I will another time if patience permits.

i do these kinds of trolls a lot of the time. usually they end up not being very gratifying because only you know you are trolling. they are mostly fun just for the one doing the troll. sure some ppl on the internetz will think its funny too but the clip is kind of meh since the audience never seem to realize he is trolling

like i like saying "good-bye" to people randomly. they get superconfused because they are like "wtf am i leaving or is he? or does he think that im leaving? why does he think im leaving? oh he's kidding lol" thats like borderline, intelligent and funny people will realize its a troll

I disagree, pretty sure you have to be retarded to take this guy's attitude seriously. Like gorilla level IQ. I think many would be as annoyed as me because he is making them waste their time and attention uselessly and it's not even funny. First impression is the impression that counts the most when you are making this kind of talk and while the people in the audience were forced to listen to what he had to say many other people on the internet will just not wait patiently through the bullshit to have a chance to listen to something that they are not sure might be smart or useful in any way.

exactly, no clue what he meant by doing a parody, a meaningful parody is much harder to execute than sarcasm

at the end of the video if you forward it a bit they gather all the talkers and the audience asks them question and the first question that they asked Hyde was " cool talk but what exactly do you want us to take out of it? " and he just said "nvm its all bullshit man, i don't know" leaving me in doubt of his motives :/
