I think the last episode was the worst so far.

Only thing I disliked was the girl whatever her name is, running right into Falcone's arms like a complete retard.

i took a look at this and it wasn't utter shit

howevever it's very difficult to start a show well including shows that add to massive franchises

so for instance in the pilot and shit it gets very obnoxious when everyone is doing the "bond, james bond" thing of saying their names so every 5 minutes there's another moment like OH THAT GUY I KNOW HIM but it's just constantly shit like that "James Gordon." "Alfred Pennyworth." "Mr. Pennyworth" "-Alfred." "Bruce Wayne." "Cat."

but the criticism i would have is when all these people keep showing up they potentially take attention away from who i assume the lead is, jim gordon, and the series will need a strong jim gordon to stand on its own, which i think is possible also i really like his veteran partner. also it's supposed to be a prequel, penguin is not bad but kind of fast along with baby catwoman and in addition to all the disposable bad guys it is a bit overwhelming. i mean seems too coincidental to put all these characters together so fast idfk it feels like the show part of the show could be good but a lot of the time is being spent introducing more characters than we need right now and in uninspired ways

if i could use an example from another franchise to quickly explain the problem it is like when R2D2 and C3PO show up in the phantom menace

also the black guy from major crimes reminded me of ainsley harriott he made a troll face in the diner i think

is this show still worth watching even though i know what happens in the beginning of the batman story?

enjoyable tv doesn't necessarily have to be good tv. i think this show is best when it deviates as far as it can from batman/comic book lore much in the same way storm troopers academy found a niche that didn't regurgitate the story lines that have been done so many times before.

personally i don't enjoy this show, i wish they really focused on detective gordon and went more X-files-y and focused on other stories that weren't explored in the batman lore.

but several lpers and a few of my friends have conveyed their enjoyment of this show.

and yes we get to watch bruce's parents die, yet again, in an alley, which we will invariably encounter at least 20 more times before our life is over.

Did not enjoy the show too much. Stopped watching after part 4 or somthing. The Homeland is pretty good this season tho. Can recommend.

The last ep's has been awful, just waiting for the Joker to appear.

Anybody seen Constantine? Its pretty good imho, also Agents of Shield has improved a bit, but still not that good. (The Flash again no comment )
