my estimates on how they will do:
thomas: 30 yards rushing, 5 catches, 45 yards receiving, .4 TD. = 9.9+ 5 catches
bradshaw: 50 yards rushing, 3 catches, 25 yards receiving, .5 TD. = 10.5 + 3 catches.

if your league is .5 PPR or higher go pierre thomas. if your league is less than .5 PPR, go bradshaw.

Wanted to get you guys' thoughts on a possible trade I am considering....

The jist of the trade is that I am in need of a solid RB (at least RB2) or TE and the guy I'm working with is need of a WR (badly) and a QB.

His team consists of:

QB: Romo, RB's: Montee Ball, Ellington - Bell, Sproles, Ridley on bench, WR's: Garcon, Michael Floyd, Hawkins & Torrey Smith, Colston, Steve Smith Sr. on bench, TE: Jimmy Graham. K & DEF don't matter

My team:

QB's: Foles & Cutler (he likes Cutler more), RB's: Alfred Morris, Lamar Miller, & Spiller, Fred Jackson, Khiry Robinson on bench, WR's: Calvin, Dez, V Jax, Wheaton, Kelvin Benjamin, TE: Martellus Bennet.

So...we've discussed a deal with the centerpieces being a combination of Calvin or Dez, along with Cutler & Kelvin Benjamin for something like Graham, Ball/Ellington, & Colston. We've also discussed Dez for Montee Ball straight up.

I'm really not sure if I should just stand pat with my team or try to upgrade at TE/RB. I don't want to give up too much when one of my RB's could pan out and be a decent RB2. I think it would make more sense to try to aquire Graham instead of Ball but I think he will want too much.

Thoughts?

I'm pretty bad at FF so take my thought with a grain of shitty salt. I think I last won a league in high school many moons ago.

But if I'm reading that right, I'd almost certainly not do that trade. Graham is obv the best TE by a solid margin but seeing as how the Bears throw so much, Bennett is a low-solid TE1 I think so the upgrade wouldn't be as big as it is for some people. Colston is a pretty good buy low guy right now for the next cpl weeks since he just put out a donut but I mean...if you get Graham and Colston together, can't expect simultaneous great production from both from many weeks. Apparently, the rookie, Brandin Cooks, has seen even more snaps than Colston in the first two weeks. They're probably going to feed Colston a bunch this upcoming game but long run, I don't think it's that great as I can see him putting up a few more near donut weeks.

Personally was never as high on Ball as others (I'm a big broncos fan and I still don't fully understand why they didn't keep Knowshon since it's not like they had to break the bank for him...and yea I know he just got injured but still) so while your 2nd RB spot kinda sucks, the rest of your team is pretty solid so having a somewhat weak RB2 isn't the worst thing in the world. And like you said, a cpl might soon pan out. I had Lamar Miller last year and needless to say he sucked ass but I think a little of it was poor playcalling and O-line. And now he has his chance for 4 weeks on an improved Dolphins team. Same with Khiry now that Ingram's out although Pierre Thomas soaks up snaps there. And Spiller isn't consistent but you could probably do worse with him as an RB2 on some weeks when you have two of the top WR's in the game.

Does he really have Leveon Bell on the bench? His team looks so poorly drafted to waste a pick on Bell and have him sit on the bench. If he doesn't think that highly of Bell, I'd try to trade something like Dez/Bennett for Bell/Graham. Maybe toss in a random RB on your side and a random WR on his side. Wouldn't fly in most leagues but would be ok here since he somehow drafted Bell to be on the bench and needs a top end WR badly

Oh nevermind. It's Joique Bell isn't it. Of course it is. I was stupid. Leveon just wouldn't make sense. Well scratch my fictitious trade idea but I think the rest of the post is relevant.

Yeah ignore my brain air ball. And I guess what I said about Bennett is more applicable in PPR which I'm guessing yours isn't.

Anyone have any strong opinions on tier'ing Cordarrelle, Brandin Cooks, Golden Tate for WR3-4's. Was high'ish on Cordarrelle pre-season but not liking him nearly as much anymore for PPR after a little thought and because of his QB situation. Trying to trade one + my RB1 for a top end WR + serviceable RB

Rank these QB's for this week:

Big Ben (@JAX), Stafford (BUF), Foles (STL) or Cutler (@CAR)?

Pick 2 out of the 4 between:

Zac Stacy (@PHI), Reggie Bush (BUF), Montee Ball (ARI) and Khiry Robinson (TB)

2 out of the 3 between:

Wes Welker (ARI), Roddy White (@NYG) and Percy Harvin (@WAS)

-note that my other starting WR is Demaryious Thomas

Really Khan? You think Big Ben is the worst out of those 4?

I was thinking: Foles > Big Ben> Cutler > Stafford

(I could see Ben being number 1 though, he's playing JAX!!!!)

QB: Stafford>Foles>Ben>Cutler, but Cutler is less than 10% worse than Stafford for this week imo so it doesn't really matter too much.

RB: Stacy and Bush; both doing about 1-1.5 points better than ball, who is 2 points better than Khiry this week. Kind of depends on PPR or not, as the grouping is slightly closer in 1/2 ppr, but I still like stacy and bush more.

WR: Wes welker for sure, and then choose who you like from white or harvin. I think the NYG game could turn into a shootout so I might pick him for the higher ceiling but I have Harvin ranked about .4points higher than him. If you have DThomas, I still don't think it's bad to throw Welker in the mix. They should both get their targets and it will eat some variance from your lineup.

Percy deserves an extra look this week. Redskin's secondary is painfully slow and dealing with losing Deangelo Hall, a knucklehead but still easily our top corner, while the run D seems to be legit. If this is non ppr, why is Wes an automatic play? I'd want to see a week or two more out of him...esp to see if he's being targeted much near red zone since Peyton automatically seems to look for Julius now there...and they prob want to feed the ball some to Demaryius with some attention being sent his way for his poor start
