I've recently came across two different herbs that help induce lucid dreams and I'm waiting for my first package to come. I ordered Ilex Guayusa and the African Dream Root. I can't wait to try them myself and see if they actually work as people describe it. Has anyone tried these? Or maybe you know of any other herbs that might be in some way beneficial to human body or mind? |

I know it's awesome because I've already experienced it multiple times (but wasn't able to hold on to it for longer and woke up pretty quickly) and I read it can also be beneficial as you can apparently learn a lot about yourself and explore your mind once you know how to stay lucid during the entire dream.

There was a moment in my life where I experienced alot of lucid dreaming. Does anyone know what could of caused it?
Some of the dreams I had felt so real.. I remember being in a dream and trying to memorize a pattern in the stone outside my house, so I can later check it when i'm awake to see if I was really there while dreaming. lol |

I woke up in my room and there was a burnt dead body right next to me, i reached my arm to touch it to see if it was real and it started screaming its head off. Then I woke up. It was exactly my room I couldn't tell the difference.
I was using adderall and alcohol at the time |

Thread would be cool if it was simply herbs worth trying as I've been playing with a bunch of legal herbs lately and there are some with pretty cool benefits. But lucid dreaming is silly. |

Yeah, its probably because your brain is conscious when it should be resting but fuck sleep man, lucid dreaming is beyond awesome and as you gain experience with it you gain more control over it to the point the universe bends at your will, that shit is wild |

I also often crash when I'm flying. Whoever says you can't feel pain in dreams is full of shit. |

What would happen if you meditate while being in a lucid dream. Does your body is uber healthy then? :D
I remember lucid dreaming from when I was younger. I can remember one instance where I knew I was dreaming and started telling the people in my dream that they were just part of my thoughts. Then I flew around and had a cool time. Other times I woke up once I realized I was dreaming. Never tried out whats possible with these dreams tho. Would be cool to learn new things or to get extra rest due to conciousness |

I find seer's sage, Salvia, very appealing. I recently found out that it was outlawed in Florida back in 2012. |

Salvia? Oh man, I hated that trip. 10 mins of pure uncomfortable mind blowing weirdness. Mind you, we got the strongest grade (there were 3 I think), and smoked it in the bong. That may have had something to do with the ridiculousness of it.
I'll never smoke that shit again. |

It is wild O_O. Sometimes the dream goes good or bad but I've had dreams where I've pushed water away from me in all directions force style with my mind and flew at pretty fast speeds. When I was younger if I had a lucid dream my flight would always be incredibly slow lol. I blame drug use for the imagination.
Kratom is a legal herb in most places and supposed to be chill/non-addictive/pretty safe at recommended doses. Haven't tried it though. |

Did triphasic, and would literally lucid dream 3 times every day. The 30 minute naps would produce the best lucid dreams that felt like a full night's sleep. |

I am glad this thread is here.
a little about me,
I do not tend to remember dreams in a way that is concrete nor linear. Little dream tidbits arrive at the doorstep of my consciousness and they seem to dissipate before I grab them. There are only three dream scenes -- scenarios -- in my entire life that come to mind in this moment.
Although today I woke from a nap. It is interesting, napping, because I often feel like nothing stopped at all once I get back up and am trying to promote my business or do whatever useful. Today it was especially odd. After waking from a nap, I went to the computer (where I manage my enterprise) without a thought about my dreamstate or whatever. Until suddenly it dawned on me that I had been living out my business and social life in my dream. I knew that years had passed (although no one had aged) and that my enterprise was sustaining me. I cannot remember any actual scene from the dream. |

Have you guys ever had a lucid dream you couldn't wake up from? Like, you are in a dream and then when you decide to wake up you think it's all back to normal but after a minute or two you realize you're still in a dream. Then you try again, you think it's back to reality just to find out you're still dreaming, then again and again... shit scared me to death at that time... never tried lucid dreaming after that, altough I knew it happens after reading about it (last time I had it was prolly around 10 years ago)...

When I met some people in my lucid dreams I asked them for their names and where they live to check if they actually exist. The mental pressure/overload from trying to speak into the dream and memorize stuff felt a bit too much though.
The idea/question about meditation during a lucid dream sounds pretty intriguing to me, if someone ever did it it would be interesting to hear a word or two on the matter.
Perhaps some herbs relaxing the nervous system could help (for meditation and lucid dreaming purposes)? |
