Shaq is getting verbally owned by Barkley in the halftime show. Shaq is defending Howard and making it sound okay that he's making all the shots while the other stars on Houston aren't doing much. Barkley told him that Houston needs to spread out the points or they won't win.

haha, maybe... I still liked my decision. Almost bet the total u220 during the first quarter, but I felt it was too early to make the bet.

love houston to steal both games @ portland and even up the series. last 3 games @ portland rockets were 2-1-1 ATS and 2-2 straight up winners, but the games played very fast and I expect rockets to play super loose here which IMO plays to their benefit as that is how they garnered their success over the years with various rosters. also worth a series price play whenever that is released.

Also really like wizards -3 as well to beat down chicago g3 @ home. some people may take the bulls angle but there's a good amount of veteran leadership on this young squad and the bulls are just ridden with injuries/too many minutes being played on key players to get the W here.

would love to hear other peoples opinions on these or other games that stand out to them

i really only feel qualified to talk about the Grizz-Thunder series as it's the only one I've really paid close to attention to but since you're interested in hearing other peoples' opinions...

I tend to agree with you somewhat about HOU bouncing back. I think the games in POR will be super close and I expect HOU to play with a lot of urgency tonight especially. The thing that worries me about POR is LMA (duh!). Kevin McHale just doesn't seem willing to make the proper adjustments needed to prevent him from going off again for 40+. I don't think he wants Dwight to guard him because it will really wear on him and affect him on the offensive end but they really have no one else that could potentially do well on him on the defensive end. So bottom line, I think HOU wins tonight but I'm still pretty iffy about this game and will not be betting it

Completely agree with everything you said here. When you best offensive option is D.J. Augustin you're going to...well...having trouble scoring lol. Also the fact that Nene as arguably outplayed Noah and really given him trouble physically is huge. Nene's ability to hit mid range shots forces Noah to play him tight and that leaves Carlos Boozer as your rim protector (not good...). Wiz also have a big edge at the PG position. Obviously Wall >>> Hinrich but the more interesting mismatch they have is Andre coming off the bench. The bulls really just have no one that can defend him size-wise at PG when he decides to do his iso post up bullshit and that's a big problem. Couple these things with the fact that Thibs is still playing his biggest players an absurd amount of minutes (understandable in the playoffs i guess) and I think all the signs point to the Wiz crushing and more than likely getting a sweep. I'm probably going to put a bet on Wiz Friday (they are -3 now)

The game tonight is a really tricky one to pick imo. For some reason my gut tells me the Thunder pull it out tonight but all the signs point to the Grizz taking care of business at home like you expect. I think it really comes down to RWB and Scotty Brooks. Westbrook is still just jacking up way too many bad shots and also really hasn't played that way defensively. Conley has been able to get where he wants for the most part and has gotten a lot of in the paint floaters that he's really good at. Scotty Brooks could really influence how these next 2 games go based on how he adjusts or his inability to adjust. I've never thought too highly on him and the consensus from most who follow NBA closely is that he's a pretty terrible coach. Apparently after G2, he was asked what general adjustments need to be made and of course what they will do differently in order to get Durant the ball more. His response was: "Well, we just need to play better". Not exactly the best adjustment lol but who knows, he could've just been being coy with the media and he actually does have some legitimate adjustments planned for tonight. I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't do too much differently though. Home court is also going to be huge for the Grizz. Fed Ex Forum is not exactly like OKC's stadium but it is very very loud and the fans are more passionate and supportive of the team than they've ever been. RWB kind've has a history of blowing up and doing really stupid shit in loud, hostile atmospheres. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets into it with a player and/or ref and picks up a T or just starts taking really bad shots when things don't go the Thunder's way.

All in all, I like the Grizz but I just have a bad feeling about G3 going the Thunder's way tonight. I ended up putting a bit more on the series price for the Grizz +250 and also put a small bet on the Grizz ML tonight at +125

There's been so many zig zag outcomes in the playoffs so far but I think its best to not let that deter you from what you expect to happen. griz gonna maul thunder with grizzly bear claws and giant bear heads. westbrook is a jopke. brooks is a jopke. thunder have one legit player on their team and thats it. portland plays 0 d and the bulls are hot garbage. should scoop everywhere
