EMT friend didn't tell the story in any kind of humble/self-effacing/self-aware way, just told it as, "this is how it went down" the meek/nerdy guy seemed to find it the funniest, I lost a lot of respect for him after that night. I'm curious how many you guys found the story funny (or not), maybe my sense of humor is miscalibrated.

not very funny, considering they went great lengths of taking advantage of anothers misfortune to get a cheap laugh.

It is funny if you completely disregard that they are human beings.
