can you elaborate on how they were getting ready to rob you?

btw aren't crime rates pretty high in like all of central america? i do think being trusting is a good quality to have in general (maybe less so in the poker world), but if you're drunk or otherwise vulnerable it seems like a fish move to invite strangers into your place (assuming they're strangers/you just met them). if you're determined to stick it out with poker and find a place to grind, somewhere like thailand seems like the best option imo, you can live cheaply to get out of debt faster and they seem to have a high tolerance for degeneracy from foreigners as long as you don't go punching store employees.

bigredhoss you are 100% spot on, i dont even know where i met them, i was black out drunk, coming home from bar (2 minute walk) after it closed - i have no idea what point in the night i met them, i just know that im way to trusting, way to sensitive and way to much of a small town boy that can't handle this stuff
