Khalidov KO`ed Wallace with a sweet punch to the jaw, you could hear the thump. Khalidov said this was his last fight in KSW, his managers will talk to the UFC for his next fight.
Pudzianowski TKO`ed Sapp, big surprise.
Materla humped his way to a victory over Silva. Materla apparently had a knee injury prior to this, and got his knee hurt in round 1 after Silva kicked him there.
Horwich made a come back and outworked Chmielewski to get the TKO win.
How do you see Mamed's chances in the UFC ? He have spoken about moving to UFC in the next fight probably.
imo he's top5 in the world now.
WINNING!

He supposedly turned down a deal 2 years ago to go to the UFC. He wants to go now, and is ready.
He can be top 10 in the Middleweight division, but, I cant say for sure if he's top 5 until he fights UFC guys.

khalidov is a fun fighter but not top 10 material. hes kinda like a worse version of mousasi. good skills and very exciting, but would get LNPed or beaten up by the top 10 MW

In April, Sherdog had the following top 10 fight Middleweight:
1. Anderson Silva (31-4)
2. Chael Sonnen (27-11-1)
3. Mark Munoz (12-2)
4. Michael Bisping (22-4)
5. Vitor Belfort (21-9)
6. Tim Boetsch (15-4)
7. Yushin Okami (26-7)
8. Brian Stann (12-4)
9. Luke Rockhold (9-1)
10. Chris Weidman (8-0)
I personally like Khalidov's BJJ, it ain't the best, but it's decent. His chin isn't weak, he's somewhat technical and adds different attacks in his arsenal instead of being a technical kickboxer or muay thai guy like Donald Cerrone for example.
Out of those top 10 listed above, I'd take Khalidov over the following people w/o seeing him take on a wrestler: Bisping, Belfort, Boetsch, Okami, Weidman.
- Boetsch might be tough cuz he's hard to take down afaik, and he hits hard and can take shot.
- Okami is overrated and has cardio issues.
- Weidman has cardio issues, his last fight was terrible but I mean before that I didn't like his cardio. He has wrestling and BJJ skills though.
- If Belfort didn't catch him with one big punch in order to whale on him, I think Khalidov would win in the long run.
- Bisping would be Khalidov's toughest match out of the 5 I listed. Bisping has good TDD, good brawler, and can take punches. I'd like to see Khalidov vs. Bisping after Khalidov gets 2-3 wins in a row in the UFC.
p.s. As soon as I see Khalidov being able to handle himself vs. wrestlers, I'll take him over Munoz as well. Munoz is overrated, if he didn't have such good wrestling, he'd be a nobody. Or, is it that his opponents are just not good at handling wrestlers...

khalidov has fought one relevant fighter in his career at the time of the fight. that was jorge santiago. and he lost the rematch when he couldnt crack jorge's glass chin.
if santiago can control and beat khalidov, im fairly certain the top 10 and more could as well.
id favor anderson, chael, munoz, bisping, vitor, boetsch, okami, stann, rockhold, weidman, lombard, jacare, marquardt, tim kennedy, maia, palhares, and belcher over khalidov right now. he has some chance to beat some of those guys and a decent chance to beat others, but id bet all of those guys at even money vs him
hes basically the same fighter as mousasi. slightly worse standup and slightly worse grappling though. mousasi has proven himself against better fighters as well. guys like khalidov look like world beaters against retards and then fight some tough dudes and look like they arent the same. happens all the time.

^ A guy with these type of moves wont be taken out as easily as you think.
Also, he isn't fighting the best guys cuz all the best guys are under Zuffa. But, all the opponents he's beating, he's finishing. So that has to count for something, since a lot of "better" fighter either aren't finishers or have lost their killer instinct, which Khalidov hasn't.
25-4-2 (11 wins by KO/TKO, 13 wins by Submission, 1 by Decision)
The last 5 guys he's fought are people who are at least semi known in MMA, although not the best opponents, but that should be enough to get him a shot in the UFC.

Yeah they fought 2 years ago and Mamed KOd him in the first fight and he improved a lot from that time. My worries is that, since Santiago fights he fought some pretty good fighters but it has never went longer than 1 round and his constantly fighting in the ring not in the octagon. He can have some difficulties to when the fight will be longer than 1-2 rounds. I am pretty sure he could get a win over Okami and even Munoz. Bisping would be really hard for him to beat.
Nothing certain yet about him in the UFC though cause KSW owners are paying him rly good - he won't get more $$ in his first fights for sure - and they want him to stay.
