Is this the same movie that the guy advertising it proudly marketed chino rheem as having a cameo role?

If so, I will donate to the fund to purchase one copy and then let every poker site I'm a member of know about the torrent file/site and will happily seed it for weeks.

You guys are fuckin scrubs, I'm going to watch it tonight on vudu. I pirate when it's too inconvenient to pay (too much DRM, cant watch it where I want etc), but cmon 4 bucks, theres no reason not to. In fact I think vudu gives you your first movie free, at least thats what it was with me back in the day.

^ All bad things start off small.

First they want $4, then they want $8, then before you know it, you're paying $15 to see a movie in high definition, when you can just wait for someone to upload the free copy that movie rental places sometimes get, or wait a rip from a cam version (which are good now since all new cameras are in HD) that someone will upload. If the movie is good enough, you can spend the $15-$18 that the DVD will sell for at Wal-Mart or wherever.

In peoples defense - I doubt anyone (with the exception of Newbsaibot) really gives a shit to even watch this movie, and the rest of the thread was/is an entertaining joke.

EDIT: This applies if this is the movie chino rheem was involved in.. if this is some other movie, consider this post a steaming pile of reheated kraft dinner

This is not the Chino Rheem movie...but it's the Howard Lederer movie...don't know if that's any better though.

Movie sucked. First 75% of movie is literally telling you what poker is, showing archive footage from the 70's and 80's, zzzzzzzz. I suppose if you had no idea what poker was you might find it informative, but not entertaining. The movie basically concludes with Black Friday.

well atleast we get the good poker movie (or good actors and producers) coming out soon

i think its really important that the industry puts out a new movie every 6-8 years or so, to keep the youngbloods coming into the game so it doesn't ever die out

i know rounders got a ton of ppl into poker, and most of them never made it far, but they donated a ton to the community, hopefully that will continue to cycle
