tastes like chicken.
The mountain was in this, but he looked tall but frail, and not angry enough. The hound is still being a badass though. "does it give you joy to scare people" "no, it gives me joy to kill people". lol
Xaro being a badass as well, planned 5 moves ahead to take over Quath with the dragons and the warlock.

yeah the mountain is a bit of a disappointment. he is meant to be the most cruel and frightening person on the show.
i like how they keep using camera shots on theons adviser whenever theon does something to try and gain respect.

i really dislike the twist they made on Jaimes story in this show, i dont see the point of some changes they make from the books.

It's making it very confusing to see how the show is possibly going to get back on track or will they also change very massive events too rather than just the small details they were doing til now
We have now sunk to a depth at which restatement of the obvious is the first duty of intelligent men.

It will be hard to explain what i mean completely without spoilers, but if you have no intention of reading the books yourself I will try to explain what i mean without any MAJOR spoilers.
Jaime is becoming one of my favourite characters in the books, he's a very complex person and not at all the pure bad guy that he is portraited as in both the books and show in 1 and 2. In the books he doesnt kill Cleos (his relative), and he doesnt kill the guard either he kills Karstarks sons in fair battle in the Whispering Woods. When hes now in the show with cold blood uses a rock to kill his own kin it takes away a lot of the honor in him that he actually has and i feel sad about it since as i already states Jaime is one of the best characters in the books with a ton of developing and kin-slaying for such a simple reason as wanting to escape himself thats just not him.
Theres also a ton of other, so far small, changes from the books. So far I didnt really have a huge problem with them but they are becoming to numerous to fast now, this show had two major. Jaime and the escape of Bran.

Also in the books Xaro Xhoan Daxos isn't trying to become king of Qarth and so on.
Not sure if im too happy with the changes, some are fine and even work better for tv, but some of them just seem like they'll require even more serious alterings later on in the show.
Even considering that im still enjoying the show very much.
Poker chobo.

Agreed. Seems like they showed him killing Cleos for shock value and to represent evil in Jaime...when he's really not =.

Did him and Cercsi have Jamie in the first books too? And did he also push Bran out of the tower in the books? If he did he seems like a fairly evil/fucked up guy.

The idea in the books is that he is a super complex individual. He did push Bran out of the tower, and that is definitely somewhat evil. However, he is in love with his sister, and letting Bran get away gets them both killed without a doubt. A lot of good men would kill to save their own life and their beloved one, which adds to the complexity of Jaimes character. Murdering his nephew like this is completely out of character for the way the books describe Jaime.

I think the only reason they did this was to better justify + Show Spoiler +
that the stark mom decides to release him next episode? I mean releasing the biggest hostage they had was a somewhat bold and stupid move in the books, but the way it goes in the show they make it seem like Jaime will die unavoidably if she doesn't do something, which would mean the end of her daughters. Not too crazy about this plot device as well, because the side effect of presenting Jaime as ultra violent and unnecessarily ruthless is really messing with the epicness of the character =P
They also showed Cersei break down and bitch about Joffrey not being obedient in front of Tyrion which is completely out of character (+ she is the one that always encouraged him to be a prick)
I don't mind these differences too much though, there have been many other changes in the show that were really good
new shit has come to light... a-and... shit! man...

Another good episode. The acting + drama in this episode was good.
Peter Dinklage is so good. I could really feel his love + pain in this episode.
