well since we didnt 5bet he can potentially have alot of offsuit broadways, offsuit Ax's. So his bet calling range on the flop will be pretty wide given stack sizes. I dont think its that thin.

we were 500hands in. Villian was 3betting 35% and hasn't 4bet once yet. he was also using curious strategy of only folding 25% to c-bet without check/raising flops. I would think that he wasn't missing any bluffing opportunities and also value betting thinner than most.

Your line isn't too bad. If he's only folding to 25% of flops, he's probably the type of player to call down in position strong, so you will often be beat here I imagine. Especially considering he has never 4 bet, which likely means he often slow plays his big pairs vs 3 bets, which goes along with is calling style.

I think given his flop size, your raise seems fine... on the turn he's got to be a little worried. If the turn blanked I wouldn't mind a larger bet but, but given that the flush hit I don't mind the size. J river isn't the best card, but with a half pot bet on the river id only check vs very specific player types.

it's a bit light, but a decent vb vs a player that likes to call light with the right dynamic going, depends on your image a lot.

So hard to play hands like this oop. Always hate flatting 4 bets,

If you were going to do something different what would it have been? I suppose checking the river wouldn't be too bad, but if your just calling every time he shoves I don't really see the point. Perhaps he checks back with KK AA, if he's dumb.

Ok.. I do think it's too light but I'm not really sure what could be done differently, perhaps a turn check and a vb on river if he checks back turn/fold to a shove. If he bets vs the turn check id consider pitching it considering how narrow both of your ranges are after the preflop action, most people wouldn't mess around too much here. I feel the turn check here allows him to call you a bit lighter on the river and there are not many hands he's shoving over you. It's hard to imagine getting called down too lightly the way the board peeled off, so I like the idea of making my hand appear a little weaker even though it's a bit more defined if you bet river.

I don't really hate your line but it seems like a fairly easy spot for him to fold worse hands and slow play strong hands. Ultimately I think it really depends on your image more than anything else and his call down tendencies.

i think your turn bet is far too large.

with the way you played it theres no sense in doing other than jamming the river. too much in the pot and too little behind. c/f is no longer an option so it's c/c or jam. i'd go like 680 or so on the turn.
