I guess betting the turn would do it, but when he called the flop my hand felt weak... guy was playing 37/19

yeah raising flop makes no sense unless you're betting turn

he would certainly reraise 2 pair or better on flop . so many draws in his range it a joke

if he plays 37/19 you should be super happy of the turn and should bet something like 90% pot

edit : anyway evens if he's a reg once you raise the flop you have to bet the turn.

actually just want to correct you that you dont need to bet the turn vs regs after flop raise, but vs a drooler you have to bet here.

I had the impression that a reg always 3bet a monster after a donkbet.
but it's quite irelevant , a reg never limp/call pre then donkbet
