yeah...why would you check turn? either (a) you want to c/r and hope to get it allin, or (b) you think there's a strong chance you've been outdrawn.

in case (a), you should be getting it allin on the river if that's what you planned to do
in case (b), you didn't redraw so check/call river

these are requirements for being logically consistent and understanding the implications of your actions. however, if you had planned to c/r the turn and get it allin, but then when you led the river his small raise just felt really fishy and you decided you had been beaten, it's fine to admit you were wrong and change your mind. so this is ok as played, but you should bet the turn and usually hope to get it allin, you have a ton of outs vs. better hands and may have the best hand anyway
