you might be right in general that could be true and i agree

in that game, that specific guy has been very agressive all the time i was at that table and in pots alot of the times raising on flops when I know he didn't hit anything. And the fact that he checked on the flop before me let me know that he probably hit the top pair or maybe trips because it was not something he usually does. He usually bets out when he doesn't hit cus he's been doing it all night at the table and it's impossible that you hit every time.

But he probably did it also to make sure I didn't have AA, KK or QQ, in which case I did not want to let him know I had it.

In which case if I was right he couldn't have the heart flush draw. On this one I decided to go with my read.

So based on my read I wanted to let him know he had the best hand so he probably put me on JJ or TT or AK AJ by my checking the flop.

He was playing on one table so I know his attention was fully there to think about it.

Made a weakish bet on the turn anticipating his re-raise, but he didn't. Once the board was completely safe for him or so he thought because he probably put me on the hands above he bet hard; but I already had the nuts.
