there's more in the pot than I thought, I wanted him to call Jx Qx 99 TT with the size.
Would you have just shipped the $16 remaining?

eh yeah just shove considering his stats.

if you want to make a non-shove value bet (which is better vs some players) i think 5.5-6.5 is better than 10.

5 flop shove turn, or at least a line that's been thought through - I mean were you going to c/f turn with an open ender and an over if he bet big when his silly 90% range is full of total shite??

Researchers used brain scans to show that when straight men looked at pictures of women in bikinis, areas of the brain that normally light up in anticipation of using tools, like spanners and screwdrivers, were activated.Last edit: 09/07/2011 08:27

I expect him to fold total air like 2 undercards som Ax on the flop but once he calls I don't think a player like this will fold a lot.

Also, people with this VPIP have betsizing as he has some 90% of the time at NL25, I actually planned the line I took on the flop when I miss and expected him to check or bet small most of the time.

If he would bet big as to me not having odds to call against e.g. TP I'd fold

You'd be missing a tonne of equity like that and leaving a huge amount of money on the table - way too weak. Jamming the turn is buckets of free money. His flop calling range is MASSIVE. Simply the naked ace or king of clubs, most ace highs, ALL pairs including underpairs, ANY nine or ten, two clubs, two hearts the list just goes on and on...

It's not quite, but just for illustration, the turn is almost a value shove!

Yeah I agree with all of that

My thinking usually against these droolers is to try to fold their air and once that fails I stop bluffing and play 0 variance game.

But I like your line a lot better with our hand, especially if he is capable to bet normal size with junk hands it would be a small disaster if I check and c/f when he bets e.g. his undercard fd
