i don't think anyone on the planet would fold a hand that beats 33 in his spot
better check and let him bluff?
or this is a good valuebet if he can pay with ace-highs?

i think you have the best hand here a lot of the time

The only hands a nit balances in his range are the nuts, the second nuts, and the third nuts.

3bet or fold pf. calling oop here is -EV.

betting on the river is pretty horrible. all worse hands will fold and almost all better hands will call.

I wasn't vbetting though, I was turning the hand into a bluff? When he checks the turn I figure he doesn't have a good hand.. maybe I look strong check calling on the flop?

But yeah I probably have the best hand a lot on the river. Checking is probably better

a common mistake i think is that people bet here to prevent villain from bluffing, but since these people don't really bluff with the right frequencies (especially considering this line), you actually want them to bluff so that you make more money

Agree that calling out of the sb is probably bad...

Um, and not really sure if a hand that beats ours checks behind on the turn? Also unsure if you guys are advocating a river c/c?

Ok that makes sense.. so against a stnd TAG this is c/c? I actually was HUDless here but villain wasn't crazy or anything. This seemed like a decent spot to mess around and try to figure out new ways to play... trying to be less robotic, not sure if this is really all that spewy. Maybe I should have hidden my holecards?

if he's bad he may bluff a lot on the river and/or not valuebet less than 1010 there
good/decent players may just check turn for pot control and valuebet A6(?),77-QQ on river

if you think betting $1 can tilt him into some spazzbluff that's cool too

c/c and c/f completely depend on the opponent.

i would not be trying to bluff an opponent off a better hand that 33. hes going to know you either have trip kings which is rare and hard to have or you are bluffing. hes usually going to call especially since the pots small.

also do not set mine oop with small pairs to single raises. especially in late position. that alone will increase your winrate.

Ahhh I'm confused. I guess I was looking at the hand 1 dimensionally... I figure he needs to fold a little more than 35% of the time for this to be profitable... but I didn't really think about his range of hands too much. He could have something like TT here and river in his case seems like a call occasionally? Or alot?

A lot to think about for me..

the main thing to take away from this hand is to not call preflop in these spots because you are just going to be a situation like this so often.

Does the pot being multiway on the flop change my expected range here at all? I feel like this makes the hand not as terrible for what I was trying to "represent" or show.

I guess the river bet is pretty small though. Not sure if I would bet this small with a K and even if I would not enough history with the dude for him to even know
