Looks like a check without serious history. You have a ten, so his tens range is thinned and you probably only beat that and 77-88 in his calling range; and since he folds those more often on both the turn or river than JJ-AA I think it would be way too thin to fire here. And a small part of his range is houses and straights to lend a little extra weight to checking. Go a little bit bigger on turn, just for value and to make your river shove < pot. |

I snap checked river but I was still kind of sad about it
river shove is below pot, and I thought a slightly smaller turn might get more calls from everything I want him to call with and by the time he gets to the river he is either hero calling or he isn't so I thought his calling range wouldn't care so long as the bet was below pot. What do you think about this idea? |

it's fine, but I think you can get away with a little bit more without increasing his fold% and making the river shove a bit less scary by not being pretty much exactly pot sized. We are only talking a couple dollars here lol so I guess it's not that important. |
