ok

if poker is dangerous to them i would rank sports betting as a Kodiak grizzly bear who smells blood after you just threw a javelin into his cub - RaiNKhAN

I don't really like flatting pf here

fuck I should just sell some of my Pokemon cards, if no one stakes that is what I will have to do - lostaccount

i usually 3bet, but i thought the guy was a nit. a nit usually wont call with worse, right? so it feels like im just turning AK into a bluff

theres a fish(?) inbetween you + the nit
3betting defines your hand (you can fold to a 4bet) and lets you play IP vs the fish

if he's a nit it's an even better reason. he will play his hand face up against you or fold and you get an heads up pot vs the fish or just win it pf, both are great options. sometimes you'll be playing a 3 way pot which is a decent result and the only bad result is him 4betting you but at this point we know we're crushed, which happens quite rarely.

As Loco said, because of the guy in between (who I presume to be a fish based on stack size alone) we should probably 3bet for value against the fish.

I don't mind flatting pre if it was just the UTG raise, but I would do so with the intention of not folding on the flop.
