thats a good size imo, gives him room to make some kind of bluff, and commits him to call the river with weaker A... its just a matter of how many weaker hands he call call you down with.
only reason for better bigger would be to shutout big draws like the one you ran into (he almost has direct odds here), but really how much of his range is that.
