Other dude probably put nickson on either a bluff or a flush/straight. So instead of choosing between calling or folding, he disconected on purpose. This is very +EV for him but its not legal obv. Its especially good if he believes that nickson will only be bluffing 10-20% of the time (making the call -EV). |

I bet 20$ on river, he disconnected and didnt have to call but he still got it to showdown, and he was back 2-3 hands after.. |

edit: floofy, im not sure you got it right. nicksson didnt lose any money there. the point is villain could see his hand without paying. |
