yeah i really wish I wouldve bet on the flop =/ I had got coolered the hand before on another table and I guess I wasn't confident in my hand at all, it was an AK too and ran into a slowplayer with a bottom pair

don't play shortstacked and you should cbet this flop always. atleast make it 1/2 pot and give the guy a chance to call with worse or fold a small pair. 1/2 pot cbet has to work every second time to be breakeven and by not cbetting he may get you off ak with worse by making a small or big bet you can't call with A high

DO NOT PLAY SHORTSTACKED !

Well I'm playing on an initial BR of 50 bucks, which is sitting at 45~ right now (thanks AA losing to AJ twice pf all-in), playing short stack allows me to 4table without having 80% of my roll in play, once I hit 150-200 I will play regular NL5 until I can move up to NL10, by the way I was told to SSS by some poker coaches, not sure why I shouldn't do so. But I'm curious as to why you think it's a bad idea :o

But yeah, concerning the hand, I was more curious to see what kind of hand you put the guy on, I'm not using pahud but pokerstrategy elephant

Handrange flop: 11
Preflop raise (i guess thats vpip?): 11
AF : -1.0

if you wanna improve your bankroll early on play in tourneys and sngs i think. much more profitable at low stakes than cash games which are just fisheries at 0.02/0.05, not that tourneys/sngs aren't but they go out pretty early on usually. i put in $50 last week and am up to $94 now playing the $3+fee 6/10-man sngs
