because a ton of the time u make bottom set if u hit a hand and set over set is super common esp when its so multiway. 7755 is like A3o in holdem trying to play to hit an ace (maybe not as extreme as that but not far from being that bad). small/mid pairs are just trash, this hand is reverse implied odds garbage. you got mad lucky to get it in so good this time. this is really basic even to a plo noob like me, watch some videos or something |

Yeah I guess it's pretty common to hit set over set but I dunno if it's bad to limp with em.. |

think about it, when u hit bottom set in a limped pot and get lots of action youre in pretty bad shape against a solid plo player's range, they arent going broke with top two or worse for a limped pot. they'll have a wrap multidraw youre flipping against or a higher set youre dead against. thats why for limped pots its definitely like A3o. ofcourse u might rape some donkey halfstacks with bottom set like u did here but thats only when the fullstack players dont flop anything, but thats limping only to win 50bb with risk of getting 100bb in bad. and the really bad plo players u get most money from are almost never fullstack so its never worth limping hands that get u killed vs fullstacks to try bust them.
limp like AA-JJ to try and make sets preferably with some other possibilities. this game is all about the draws, theyre as good as made hands and easier to flop if u play good suited rundowns or gappers. 5678ds good QJT8ds good AKQJds great A678single suited to the ace good, 5775 really bad. etc |
